Minutes of Regular Meeting of Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri February 21, 1967 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riversid®, Missouri, was held in the City of Riverside, Missou ri at 7:30 p.m. on February 21, 1967. Upon a roll call, aldermen Eskridge, Layton, Swetnam, and Young were present and Brenner and Clark absent; Mayor Filter calling said meeting to order. Minutes of regular meeting of Februa'~y 7, 1967 were read and accepted as read Mr. McKeon advised he was there to talk about the baseball field in beck of the City Hall, and Tom Ro~~ertson sppke with regard to what needs to be done to the field and how they would like the City tp put it in food condition for the boys to play ball this coming season. He stated the following things were the tangs he wanted Riverside to do for the _ ball park: Fencing - cost from N.K.C. Iron Tretal - X345.00, steel fence !}7 ft. at 6f and remaining of the 90' except for ~~ opening at 4~ . -- ~1id©ning tho p$ch of the hill, approximate cost 300.00. Curshed stone and sand X12.00 to $~1LF.00 -- and cutting the grass on the and around the field, -- cost unkr.onw. Mayor F9_lger stated he waould appoint a c ommittee and see what could be done. Nir. Hohn agsin inquired with regard to the eit the road to hi_s apartments, and I~'~r. T~eyers stated he had work and corrected some of the matters, howe-aer, Mr.T~iyers that the hill would notwash down on the road and that he be corredted. Layton moved that rules be s uspended and Bill No. 354 be placed on its third reading and upon passa~.e of sameb~come Ord. Trio. 354, seconded by Y ung, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Brenne -absent; Clam-abssnt; Eskridge-aye; Layton-eye; Swetnam-aye; Young-acre; Bill No. 35 was accordingly read, approved by Tlayor Filger and bedame Ordinance No. 351} Mr. Perkins ag.a'_n spoke with rega-'d to the roads being provided for the place of business they anticipate building; and after a lengthy discussion, it was decided that the most reasonable way to have the put to the specifications requested was possibly to assess each propertyowne r in that area per souare footagebasf.s. Layton moved that bill No. 206 -being bill providng for the necessity that private property be condemned and appropriated for public ,.__; teg. T~eet.
