October 18,1966
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside,
-Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on October 18,
1966, at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, Aldermen Brenner, Clark, Eskridge,
Layton, Swetnam and Young were present, Mayor Filger calling said meeting
to order.
Minutes of regular meeting of October 4, 1966 were read and a ecepted
as read. Treansurer~s report for monty of September, 1966 was read and
accepted.
Cheek was received from DAirland Insurance Company for damage
to police automobile on May 27, 1966.
Eng. E. I1 Myers again spoke with regard to the running of a sewer line
from the Wales and Webb end M & H Projects to Jumping Creek Branch and to
meet with Kansas City Seger, and the cost would be ap;~roaimately X31},000.00
and also wanted to know what was done with regard to the sewage disposal for
the M & H Project. Mr. H n stated he w as willing to pay acertain amount
to Wales and Webb to run heir sewage to their line a nd thatw ould be the
way they would handle this matter.
~~ W. Brenner moved that the application of Mr. Mynett to sell liquor
Eby the package be approved, subject to the state approval of same, seconded
by Clark, the roll was called and voteswere as follows: - Brenner-aye;
Clark-aye; Eskridge-aye; Layton, excused this portion of meeting, Swetnam
nay; Young-aye, if the pool tables were in accordance with the ordinances
and not in contradiction.of same.
Swetnam moved that Bill No.66-18 being providing for the appropriation
of money out of the general fund of the city Bf Riverside, Missouri f or the
payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein be placed on its first
reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows:
Brenner-aye; Clark-aye; Eskridge-aye; Layton-excused; Swetnam- aye; Young-aye;
Bill No. D-66-18 was accordinglyr~ead; Brenn

redding,seconded by Swetna~, the roll was cal led and votes were as follows:

Bill No. D-66-18 was accordingly read.
Swetnam moved that Rules be s uspended and Bill No. D-66-18 be placed
_ on its third reading and upon passage oP same become Ord. No. D-66-18,
seconded by Brenner, theroll wa: called and votes were as follows
