A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside,
i~issouri was held in the City :all ~ Riverside, on October !}, 1966,8:00 pm
and upon a roll call, aldermen Brenner, Clark, Eskridge, Swetnam,
Layton and Young were present, i-ayor Filger calling said reeeting to
order.
P~iinutes of Septembez° 20, 15:66, were read and accepted as
rear'.. Colloctor~ s rep~art for month of September, 1;66, was read and
~ccepted.
Young moved that under the present condition that the
building inspector handle the septic disposal on the individuals
in the Bottoms and do the best he could, seconded by Brenner, the
roll eras called and all voted in favor.
Swetnam moved that the remodeling application of B. Tabscott
and the application for moving house of August Ameel be approved,
seconded by Layton, the roll was called and all voted in favor and permit
numbers 3-66 and 2-66 respectively were issued to the above parties.
Brenner moved that Wales and Webb application for an
additsn of another wing to the rest home be approved, seconded by
Clark, the roll was called and all voted in favor, permit No. 4-66
was issued to the project.
Mr. Myers spoke regarding to the sewage system to be
installed and connected to Kansas City Main Line sewer. He said
that they would have to be in districts, where the water shed
gathers and that the property owners in the certain water shed
districts would have to absorb the cost of the installation of
the sewers. He stated the first one would be the area where
@liff View Manor is and this consisted of approximately 25 acres-
district. Mr. Myers stated the City had to delcide the necessity
of this district and then would have to secure the costs and
proceed.
Swetnam moved that aruthoity be given Mr. Dorsey and
Mr. Myers to set up the district and ordinances establishing the
sewer districts and the water shed from Cliff Manner to the
Kansas City Main Line sewer, Layton seconded, the roll was called
and all voted in favor.
Swetnam moved that we accept the request of the Police
department as listed in D. Sene)cer's let~r of October 4, 1966,
seconded by Eskridge, the roll was called and votes were ail
in favor.
Swetnam moved that bill No. D-6617 being bill providing
for the appropriation of money out of the general fund of the
City of Riverside, Missouri for payment of certain indebtednessas
listed therein be placed on its first reading, seconded by Eskridge,
the roll was called and votes were as follows: Brenner-aye; Clark aye;
Eskrdige-aye; Layton-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. D-66-17
was accordingly read.
Brenner moved that rules be suspended and Bill No.-D-66-17 be
placed on its second reading and lupon ~asaagBxmfc seconded by Swetzia;~
the roll was called and votes were as follows: Brenner-aye; Clark-aye;
Layton-ale; Eskridge-age; Sw~nam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. D-66-17 was
accordingly read.
Young moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-66-17 be placed
on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord. No. D-66¢17,
seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows:
Brenner-aye; Clark-aye; Eskridge-age; Layton-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye;
Bill No. D1-66-17 was accordingly read, approved by Mayo Filger
and became Ord. No. D-66-17.
