A regular meeting of the Board or' Aldermen efCit of Riverside,
Missouri was held i~ the Cite- Hallin Riverside, Missouri on August 16,
1966,and upon a roll call, Aldermen Brenner, Clark, Eakridgg,
La-~ton and Young were present, Swetnam,ahsent; and Maz,~or Filger calling
said meeting to order.
Minutes of meeting of July 19, 1966 were read ar_d accepted as
read. Minutes of August 2, 1966 were read and accepted as read.
~'reasurer~s report for month of July, 1965, was read and accepted.
Mrs. John Brenner registered a complaint about the noise the
dogs at Eagles Animal Hospital were making for about the last ten
da~rs and wanted to know what the Cit: could do about it, said she
has asked them if they could not quite the dogs however, nothing
has been donQ, except that at one time they ?were qui~~ and she thought
perhaps there is a way to qui~#: the dogs. Mrs. Himmelburg also agreed
with Mrs. Rrerner that the dogs were quite noisy and would like
samet~~ing done ab-~ut it. The only thing the council thought could be
done at the present was to send them a letter advising of this com~lairt
-~ and see ~f their would do something about the dogs making so muchr~oise.
'~1rs. Kinr~ complained shout the dust and dirt from the road in
front of her house, High Drive, as the road was just oiled and gr=~~e led,
and much of the dust was coming in their house. It arras d ecided to have
the company who repaired the road to come out and do whatever necessary
to properly take car~_ of this matter.
Mrs. Davis advised that the •`~oad District wcu ld not do an~¢thing
about the IQorthwood road on just p~ t of it, said that they would
not just go in and do part of the road. It w~s decided to have
Mr. booth to see what it would take to oil the road from its northern
boundry where it is not blacktopped to about li~:C feet south of hlrs.

at our expense if the Road District would m t contribute the 1/2/
Mr. ~ailliam Clark advised the council he wanted to purchase
182 acres in Riverside and wished to have it rezoned to 8 units
apartments andtwo s tort' high, he was advised this was for the z~:ming
Commission. i~acm~saa
--~ Dr. Peplo reauested permission to build on the present building
he was in, and after he presented the drawing of the building he plans
to do and the present building, he would beg iven pe°°mission.
Donald Miller inquired with regard to perking his trailer at a
residential site so t hat he could repair the house he purchased, and
he was advised that this would n t be in order as the ordinances would
not provide for such.
Clark moved that Bill P?o. D-66-14 being bill providing for the
a~~rropriati n of mone: out of t he general fud~~ of the City of Rive: side,
t~[issouri for the pa ment of certain indebtedness as listed therein be
placed on its Furst reading, seconded by Bre-m~er, the roll wasc alled and
votes were as folloT~rs: Bre~:nep-ae; Clark-aye; Eskridge-afire; Layton-aye;
Swetnam-~~e~,nt; Young-sae; Bill N o. D-66-14 has accordingly read.
Brenner maned that rules be suspended and Bill Ito. D-6~-ltd be placed
on its second reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were
as follows: Brenner-aye;Clark-a e; Eskridge-afire; Swetnam-absent; Layton-a-e;
Youns~-a e; Bill No. D-6fi-14 was accordingly read.

seconded by Brenner, the roll was called and votes were as follows:

Ordinance No. D-66-11~.
