Engineer E. I. Myers a dvised the City that Skelly
Oil wanted to tuna line thro_.gh the bottom igrond of Riverside,
and this would follow the Mattox RoAd this wou d be on the east
side of the Mattox Road. They want to get 10 ft width and will
dedicate it back to the City for Road purposes, this would make
the Matton road 60 feet wide. Also the fact that 1635 was coming
across on the bottom ground, it was suggested that Vandepopulier
road be widened and also bring it further south, or imporive it
further south. The Turf farm has bui~.t their wells in the middle
of the road way and it was suggested if they would not rr,ove the
wells that the road curve around it. Also the fact that the City
wanted a road East and test, and `t'urf Farm seemed to think they
could obtain the right of way for this road, from 1~andepouplier
to the Fairfax -ridge road.
