side, Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on
June 15,1965, at 8:00 p.m. and u on a roll call a1 ~,mg~ enner

by Mayor ilger.
Minutes of regular Meeting oP June 1, 1965, were read and
accepted as read. Treasarer~s report for month of May, 1965, wea
readand accepted as read.
Mr. Waller presented business application for teen a ge dance
in the Downs building he acid they would have a band three nights
a week, Fri. Sat.and Sunday, the remainder days of the week there
wsuld be ~ jute boa. He said they would have at least two police
officers on duty on Fri, Sat. and Sunday. There was ample lights
on tha outside of the building, they would have teen agars from the
age of 13 to 19 or 20, but 21 and over were not allowed. They would
probably b e openuntil midnight, serve only soft drinks and have
adult aupervisibn.
Brenner moved that Mr. filler be given permission to have
the teen age dance on a temporary b axis and that he pay the fee for
one-half ,year 050.00), seconded by Clark - however, it wea under
stood *hat he would comply with all of t he above regulations, the
roll was called and votes were ea followss Hrenner-aye; Clark-aye;
Eskridge-eye; Majors-aye; Swetnam-aye; and Y®ung-absen t/
Majors moved that Mr. Tabscobt application for remodc;eling
be accpeted, seconded by Swetnam, the roll wsa cal led and votes were
sa follows: Brenner-aye; Cl~ rk-ale; Esckridge-aye; Majors-aye;
Swetnam-aye; and Young-absent. Permit 366 was issued to Mr. Tabacott.
Mr. Young present this par~tion of meeting.
W. Brenner brought up the matter of the ~19s000 bridge fund
which the city was to receive. This matter wea to be looked into.
Mayor Filger announced there would be a meeting of thecouncil
'~neaday, June 22, 1965, to tour the roads and also see about the
lights on the streets.
Mr. Booths bill Por X301 was approved by the council and
sent to the special road district for payment.
Clary moved that Bill No. D-65-11 being bill prodiving far the
appropriation of money out of the general fund of the City of h iveraid~,
Missouri for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein be
placed on its Pirat reading, seconded by Majors, the roll was called
and votes were as follows: Brenner-aya; C]e rk-ado; Eskridge-aye;
Majors-eye; Swetnam-aye; and Young-sye; Bill No. D-65-11 w as accordingly
read.
Brenner moved that rules b e suspended and Bill No. D-65-11
be placed on its second reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called
and votes were as follows: Hrennor-eye; Clark-ale; Eskridge-eye;
Majors-aye; Swetnam-sye; and Y®ung-sye; Bill No. D-65-11 was accordingly
read.
Majors moved that rulesbeauapended and Bill No. D-65-11 be
placed on its third reading and upon passage of same it to come Ord. No.
D-65-11, seconded by Clark, the roll was cal led end votes were as follows:
Brenner-eye; Clark-sye; Eskridge-sye; Majors-aye; Swetnarr-aye; Young-aye;
Bill No. D-65-11 was accordinglyread, approved by Mayor Filger and be-
came ordinance No. D-65-11.
Brenner moved meeting adjourn, seconded by Majors, meeting
adjourned.
