A regular meetin g of the Board of aldemen of the City of Riverside,
Iissouri was ,k}el~l~ in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri a1[atxg
at 8.00 p.m, ncj upon a roll call, aldermen H. Brenner, Majors,
Swetnam and Young wre present, 1~. Brenner and Clark Absent and
Mayor Filger calling said meeting to order.
Minutes or regular meetings of January 19, 1965 and February 2,
1965 were read and accepted.
Mr. Lavine spoke with regard to building a serve it oyourself
gasoline station in Riverside and wondered how the council would
lik~a it. This would be at the Junction of 71 and69, it would
have two pumps and one coin changer and also a bill changer.
Swetnam moved that we accept Mrs. Louis Davis resignation and
hire Mrs. Betty Hedgecock as police court clerk, seconded by
Majors, the roll was called ad the votes were as follows:
H. Brenner,aye; W. Brenner-absent; Clark-absent; Majors-aye;
and Swetnam-aye and Young-fie.
H. Brenner moved that Bill No. D-65-3 being bill providing
for the appropriation of money out of the general fund of the
City of Riverside, Missouri for the payment of certain indebtednes•
as listed therein be placed onits first reading, seconded by
Majors, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H. Brenner-aye
W. Brenner-absent' Clark-~tge'~ Majors-aye; Swtnam-aye; Youngaye
and Biill No. D-65-3 was accordingly read.
H. Brenner mo ed that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-65-3
be placed on its second reading, seconded by Majors, the roll
was called and votes wa'e as follows: H. Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-absent
Clark-absent; Majors-aye; Swetnam-aye; and Young-aye; Bill No. D-6~"~
was accordingly read, a~~

H. Brenner roved that/Bill No. D-6,~3 xaa be placed on its
third reading and upon passage of same become Ord. No. D-6g-~,
seconded by Yung, the roll was called and votes were as follows:
H. Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-absent; Clark-a~®ent; Majors-aye;
Sw~nam, aye; Young-aye; Bill No. D-6$ ~ was accordingly read, approved
by ;Mayor Filger and baecaee Ord. No. D-65-3.
A letter was read from the Parkville Specila Road Histrict
and it was suggested that same be answered advising them that
Riverside would 1 e o be let known about any ~axa major work
to be done on the~ri~ other than the grading and perhaps a load
of gravel.
Young moved that meeting adjourn, seconded by H. Brenner, meeting
adjourned.
