of Riverside, Missouri
A regular meeting of the Board ofAldermen of City of Riverside,
- Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on Novemr~~r 3,
1964 at 8100 p.m. and upon a roll call, Aldermen Qlark, Majors,
Swetnam and Young were present and H. Brenner and W. Brenner were
absent, Mayor Filger calling said meeting to order.
Minutes of October 20, 1961} were read and accepted as read.
Mr. Searcy presented a plan for recprding of lots in
Northwood acres, however it did not show the width of the roads
on the plat and was suggested that he have his surveyor show the
width of such roads.
Mr. Sour press=nted a plan for building a house, however
after examining the drawings it appeared the plans were for a duplex
and the lot tiaas not large enough for a duplex to b e built. It was
suggested that the matter could be taken up with the adjustment
board for thdB views.
Mr. J. D. Hon presented drawings for a 12 Unit building
of apartments across or east of Dr. Jones offices and it w as
decided that there was not enough p~ rking space for the units
invol-aed and that he should try to obtain more parking space or
arrange the building differently or the property.
Swetnam su-~°geeted that a letter be written NIr. William Wilson
regarding his building permit, however, that Mr. Dorsey shoulCouneil
write the latter and advise Mr. Wilson that the matters the
passed his building permit subject to were not ever pres~nted to
the council and that he sho}~ld be stopped from building furtsl:er,
that he has not gotten his drawings signed or stamped by a licensed
architect, engineer or surveyor; that he has not furbished a bond
to cover the sewage disposal system and that he has not built the
streets to specifications or posted bond for the building of same.
Swetnam also suggested that a letter be t~ritten to Mr. Dorsey tonight
and that the police depatment could have someone pick it up tomorrow
to serve on if r. Wilson on Wednesday. All members of the council
present were in accord.
Swetnam moved that Bill No. D-6LE-21 being billpnoviding for
the appropriation of money out of the Geners 1 I'~und of the City of
Riverside, Missazri for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed
therein be placed or,its first reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was
called and votes were as follows: H. Brenner-absent; W. Brenner-absent;
Clark-aye; Majors-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill P?o. D-6L}-21 was
accordingly read.
Swetnam moved that rules b e suspended and Bill No. D-61}-21
be placed on its second reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called

was accordingly read.
Cla rk r,,6~ ed that rules b e suspended and Bill No. D-6k#-21 be paced
on its thud reading and upon passage of same become Ord. No. D-64-21,
seconded by Majors, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H-Brenn~
absent; W. Brenner-absent; Clarlc-a6e; Swetnam-aye; Majors-aye; Young-aye;
Bill No. D-64-21 was accordingly read, approved b~T Niayor Filger and
became Qrd. No. D-6L}-21.
