A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of River-
side, Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on March
17, 196L}, at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, Aldermen H. Brenner,
Clark, Majors and Swetnam Present, W. Brenner, absent and Young absent
for roll call, Mayor Filer calling said meeting to order.
Mrs. Henry Owens inquired with regard to having the trailer
parked on her property in Northwood Acrc:s and she w as advised this was
not zoned for this pae'ticular need.
A Representative of the NAERT (North Area Emergency Radio
Team) spoke as to what their club represents and does and stated they
would like to continue their meetings in the City Hall, after he
finished his explanation, it w as decided to allow them to have
their meetings in the City Hall of r the present, however, if any
trouble develops or complaints or trouble of any kind develops, then
the practice will have to cease.
Clark moved-that the City of Riverside accept the
dedication of certain described property known as Larsen Road after it
is brought up to City Road Specifications, seconded by Swetnam, the
roll was cel led and votes were as follows; H. Brenner-eye;
W. Brenner-absent; Clark-eye; Swetnam-a ye; Hajors-aye; and Young-aye.
Swetnam moved that the City accept the two applications of
Wales and Webb Const. Co., Inc. subject to the approval of the
sewage disposal system by the county Sanatarian, end subject to the
rezo ping being completed and the recording of the p~att being
completed, seconded by H. Brenner, the roll was called and votes were
as follows: H. Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-absent; Clark-aye;
Majors-eye; Swetnam-absent; and Young-aye.
A discussing was had with re Bard to h awing Bill Wilson a s
plumbing irmpector.
Swetnam moved that Mr. Dorsey take the necessary steps
to compell the Missouri Cities Water Co. post bond before installing
any water lines, meters, etc. on the City right of way or property;
seconded by Majors the roll was cs lled and votes were as follows:
H. Brenner-eye; W. Brenner-absent; Clark-aye; Majors-aye; Swetnam-eye;
and Young-aye.
H. B enner moved that Bill No. 333-9 being bill providing
for the general "elections nd appointment of judges of Election b e placed
'~ on its first reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes
were as follows H. Brenner-eye; W. Brenner~e~bseiit; Clark-aye; Majors-eye;
Swetnam-aye; and Young-sye; Bill No. 333-9 was a ccordingly read.
Swetnam moved that rules be suspended and B`11 No. 333-9 be
placed on its second r eading, seconded by Clerk, the roll was called and
votes were as follows: H. Brenner-eye; W.Brenner-absent; Clark-aye;
Majors-eye; Sw~nam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. 333-9 wads accordingly
read.
Slack moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 333-9 b e
placed on its third reading and' upon passage of same it become Ordinance
no. 333-9, seconded by H. Brenner, the roll was cal]s d and votes were
as follows: H, Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-agelnt; Clark-a ye; Majors-eye;
Swetnam-aye; and Young-aye.
H. Brenner moved that Bill No. D-64-6 being bill providing
for the approproation of money out of the feral fund of the City of
Riverside for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed-there in
be placed on its first reading, seconded by Swot na m, the roll was cal led
and votes were a s followsE H. Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-e~re~nt;
Clark-eye; Majors-aye; Swetnam-eye; Young-cyst Bill No. D-64-6 was
accordingly read.
Clark moved that rules b e suspended and Bill No. D-61}-6 be
placed on its second reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was cal led and
votes w ere as f.~llows: H. Br rner-sy®; W. B rennet-absent; Clark-aye;
Majors-eye; Swetnam~a ye; young-sye; a:al Bill No. D-64-6 was accordingly
read.

Swetnam moved that rules be s uspended and Bill No. D-6l}-6
be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord.
No. D-64-6, seconded by H. Brenner, the roll was called and votes were as
follows: H. Brenner-eye; W. Brenner-absent; Clark-eye; Majors-aye;
SwtnamaG-aye;and Youhg-eyep Bill No. D-64-6 was accordingly read,
approved by Mayor Filer and became Ord. No.D-61}-6.
H. Brenner moved that meeting adjourn, seconded by Cl~lt ,
meeting adjourned. /~
