HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-03-03Minutes of Regular Meeting of Board of Aldermen of City of 8iverside, Missouri March 3, 1964 ,- -- A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of 8iver- side, Midsouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside on March 3, 1964 ah 8:.00 p.m. :end upon a roll call, aldermen H. Brenner, W. Brenner Clark, Majors, present, Swetnam and Young absent, and Mayor Filgcr calling said meeting to order. Minutes of regular meeting of February 18, 1964 Caere read and accepted as read. Attorney Dorsey presented Resolution with regard to road in the City of Riverside, said resolution was adopted and to be forwarded to the County Clerk. Majors moved that the business building application presented by John Blogin be accepted and the remodeling application for garage by Mr. Foster be accepted, seconded by Clark, the roll _ was called and votes were as follows: H. Brenner-aye; W.Brenner- aye; Clark-aye; Majors-aye; Swetnam-absent and Young-absent. Young present this portion of meeting: ~-- _ Calrk moved that Bill No. D-64A5 being bill providing for the appropriation of money out of the general fund of the city of 8iverside, Missouri for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein be placed on its first re°~ding, seconded by Young, the roll was called and votes wa=re as follows: H. Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-aye; C13rk-ale; Majorys-aye; Swetnam- ~bsent; Young-aye, Bill No. D-64-5 was accordingly read. H. Brenner moved that rules be suspended «nd Bill No. D-64A5 be pl~:~ced on its second reading, seconded by Majors, the roll was c:~lled and votes were gs follows:- H. Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-aye; Clark-aye; Majors-aye; Swetnam-absent; and Young-aye, Bill N;. D-64-5 wa.s accordingly read. H. Brenner moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-6µ-5 be placed on its third reading :,ind upon passage 88 s:~me it become ordinance No. D-6465, seconded by Young, the roll was c.xlled and votes were as follows: H. Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-ajeewnt; Clark-ale; 1[ajora-aye; Swetnam-absent; and Young-a~Ce; Bill No. D>64_5 was :accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ordinance N~:;. D-64-5. ~- It was decided to write the County Court in Kansas City, Kansas reg~krding the smoke and smell of the materials burned on the Fairfax side of the Missouri Rivers.
