Minutes of Regular Meeting of Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri August 6, 1953 A regular meeting of the Board of Alcertnen of City of Riverside, Missouri was held in t he City Hall in Riverside, Missouri at 8:00 p.m. on August 6, and upon s roll call, Owens absentBandnMa~or~Fil erecallin Clark, 6wetnam, and Young Present, y g g said Meeting to order. Swetnam moved that Riverside Auto Supply Business license application be approved seconded by H. Brenner, the roll was called and votes-were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-ay®; Cla rk-aye; Owens-~~i-,Swetnam-aye; Youn`-aye. H. Brenner moved that Mr. Mc~,uire~s application for remodeling business building be approved subject to his obtAning four more copies of the plans, seconded by Swbtna~-, the roll was called and votes were a.s follows: H. Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-aye; Owens-absent; Cl~:rk-aye; Swetnam-aye; and Young-aye. W. Brenner ~Soved that Mr. Wm. Willis be given permission to set up his-tent for revival meeting just west of the vonut Shop on Highway 45, for one week with the understanding if it satisfactory, then for three more weeks, seconded by Swetnam, the rollowas called and votes were as follows: H.Brenner nay; Wl Brenner-ays; Clark-nay; Owens, Absent; Swetnam-ay®; and YvunQ-Zj<e, and Nay, would be fore it if not faith healer involved, if involved, Nay. Brenner moved that the City ~ proveePerrine~s application for restaurant, seeorn ee by Young, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H. Brenner-aye; W. ':renner-aye; Clark-aye; Owens-absent. Swetnam-aye; Young-aye. It was su~~asted to write midge ;>wetnam a letter requesting retain in the City Jail whenever possible all prisoners and have them work for the city. H. Brenner moved that rules be suspended and B~.11 No. D-63-14 being bill providing for the a,,:propriation of mmney out of the general fund of the City of Riverside, for the payment of certain indebted3ess as listed therein be placed on its first reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H. Brenner-age; W-Brenner- aye; Clark-aye; Hwens, absent; Swetnam-aye; Younggaye; and Bill No. D-63~]!a. was accordingly read. H. Brenner moved that rules be suspended and Bill IvTo.
