July 2, 1963
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside,
Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on July 2, 1963s
and upon a roll call, aldermen H. Brenner, Clark, Swetnam and Young were
present, W. Brenner, and Owens absent, and A:ayor Filger calling s^id
meeting to order.
rir. Buroh and a number of residents from Valley Drive in
Northwood acres asked if there w~s something the city could do to
correct the road situations Since Valley Drive was oiled, the oil
has been tracking into the houses by the people, as there seemed to be
access oil, upon motion by Young that the road be inspected and that
whatever size gravel it took to pb~peC$ the situation, should be
put on the road, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes
were as follows: H.Brenner8aye; W.Brenner-absent; Clark-aye; Owens-absent;
Swetnam-sye; Young-sye.
H. Brenner moved that Bill No. 291-1 being bill accepting
the contract with Wayside Waifs, Inc. for the catching and impoundment of
dogs running loose in the City, and authorizing and directing the N:syor to
executedsuch contract a~sd the City Clerk to attest and affix the City seal,
seconded by Cla rk, the roll wascalled and votes were as follows: H-Brenner-
eye; W. Brenner-absent; Clark-aye; f3wena-absent; Swetnan,-aye; Young-aye;
and Bill No. 291-1 was accordingly read.
Clark moved that rules b e suspended and Bill No. 291-1 be
placed on its second reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and
votes were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-a~tClark-a,ye; Swetnam-aye;
Owens-absent; Youngpaye; and Bill No. 291-1 was accordingly read.

H.Brenner moved that/Bi11No. 291-1 be placed on its third reading
and upon passage of same become Ord. No. 2~~1-1, seconded by Clark, the roll
was called and votes were as f ollowss H.Brenner-aye; W.Breenner-absent;
Clark-aye; Swetnam-eye; Owens-absent; Young-aye; and Bill No. 291-1 was
accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. 2~1-1.
H. Brerner moved that Bill No. D-63-13 being bill providing
for the appropriation of money out of the general fund of the city of
Riverside, Missouri for the payment of eertaiil indebtedness as listed there-
in be placed on its first reeding, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was
called and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-absent;
Clark-ape; Swetnam-aye; Owens-absent; Young-ape; and Bill No. D-63-13
was accordingly read.
H. Brenner moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-63813
be placed on its second reading, seconded by Young, the roll was cal led
and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-sye; W.Brenner-e1~et;t Clark-aye;
Swetnam-aye; Owens-absent; ~ d Young-aye; Bill No. D-63-13 was accordingly
read, a~proved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. D-63-13.
H.Brenner- moved meeting adjourn, seconded by Clark, meeting adjourned.
