HomeMy WebLinkAbout1963-02-19Minutes of Regular Meeting o~ Boardof Aldermen cf City of Riverside, Missouri February 19, 1963 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri Has held in the City Hallin Riverside, A'?issouri at 8;00 p.m. on February 19, 1963 and upon a roll call, aldermen H. Brenner, ~J. Brenner, Clark, Owens, Swetnam and Young were present, and Mayor Filr~er calling said meeting, to order. Minutes of regular mr:eting of Feb. 5, 1963 were read and accepted as read. An inq~~iry was made of Mr. Thompson as to how and what progbess was m•de to get water hydrants to Indian Hills, and he was advised the matter was brought under consideration several months back and the water company presented the city an agreement to be entered into which was rather unreasonable in parts. The matter of amount of license to be paid by different types of eating and drinking e~stabl3s hments was to be revie~ed by the council at a sped al meeting, within the next two weeks. Clark moved that Bill No. D-63-4 being bill providing for the ap->ropriation of money out of the general fund of the city of Riverside for the payment of certain imiebtedness as listed therein be placed on its first reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes were as follota s : H. Brenner-aye; W. -Brenner-aye; Clark-aye; Owens-ay®; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. D-63-4 was accardingly read. 'r1.Brenner moved that rules be suspended and Bill I~To.
