January Z, 1863
A regular meeting of the Board of aldermen of City of Riverside,
Missouri was held on January 2, 1963, a t 8:00 p.m. in the City Hall
and upon a roll call, aldermen H. Brenner, Clark, Owens, Swetnam and
Young were present, W. Brenner, absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of December 18, 1962 were read and
accepted.
Asst. Chief of Police Perrine advised the councel he warned
the person in the garage north of 45 Highway and Line Creek that
he had to clean up his place or new license would not be issued to
him. Mrs. Clark was to tell Mrs. Brophy not to issue new license
until the place was okayed by the City.
H. Brenner moved that the following roads end the amount
of gravel as suggested by Booth be approved, Mandren Road-2 L.;
Norwood-4 L.; Valley Dr.-3 L. Sunset D.-4 L. VanDepopulier-3 L.
Maddox-3 L, seconded by Mrs. Clark, the roll was called and votes
were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; Clark-Aye; H.Breiner-absent;
Owens-aye; Swetnam-aye; and Young-aye.
Swetnam moved that Bill No. D-63-1 being bill providing for
the approg~riation of money out of the general fund of the City of
Riverside for the payment of certain indebtedness3saslisted therein
be placed on its first reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called
and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-absent; Clark-aye;
Owens-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye, Bill No. D-63-1 was accordingly read.
Swetnam moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-63e1 be
placed on its second reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called
and votes were as follows: H-Brenner-aye; W-Brenner-absent; Clark-aye;
Owens-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye;, Bill No. D-63-1 was accordingly
read.
Clark moved that Rules be suspended and Bi11 No. D-63-1 be
placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord.
No. D-63e1, seconded by Owens, the roll was called and votes were
as follows: H.Brener-aye; W.-Brenner-absent; Clark-aye; Owens-aye;
Swetnam-aye; Young-aye, Bill No. D-63-1 was accordingly read,
approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. D-63-1.
H.Brenner moved meeting adjourn, seconded by Young, meeting adjourned.
