December 18,1962
A regular meeting of the Bond of Aldermen of City of Riverside,
Missouri was held in the City of Riverside at the City Hall on December 18,
1962 at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen H. Brenner, W. Brenner,
Clark, Owens, and Young Present, Swetnam, absent, and Mayor Filger calling
said meeting to o rder.
Minutes of regular meeting of December 4, 1962 were read and
~cepted as read. Treasurers report formonth of November was read and
~:scepted.
Young moved that a letter be Mitten the State Liquor Board as
ill as the County Liquor Board advising saeid liquor boards that we will
eve Edsel Anderson permission to dispense liquor by the drink subject to
said Boards approval, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes
were as follows:' H. Brenner-aye; W.Br~enner-aye; Clark-aye; Owens-aye;
Swetnam-absent; Youmig-aye.
Young moved tt~et we approve application for apartments applied for
by Mr. Wilson for Mrs. Filger and Warren Brenner on Lots 5 and 6, subject
to the road being completed to the City~s specifications on Lots 5, b, 7,
and 8, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows:
H.Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-eye; Cla rk-afve; Owens,aye; Swetnam-absent;
Young-eye.
Young reported on the the shipment of the police car, stated
the people said the car was to be at Jerry Greens on Thrusady and we
would have it by Friday or Saturday as it took a day to process it.
The police department w as advised to notify the garage North
Highway 1}5 and East of Line Creek to clean up their placd and iE it
is not cleaned up by the 1st of January, no license could be issued.
H. Brenner moved that Bill No. D-62-23 being, bill providing for
®ar~propriation of money out of the general fund of the City of Riverside,
~~tibouri for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein b e placed
on its first reading, seconded by Owens, the roll was called and votes w err
as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-eye; Clark-aye; Owena-~x8re; Swetnam-absent
Dung-aye; and Bill Ivo. D-62-23 was accordingly read.
H. Brenner moved that rules b e suspended and bill No. D-62-23 b$
placed on its second reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes
were as follows: H.Brerner-aye; W.Brenner-eye; Clark-aye; Owens-aye;
Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; And bill No. D-62-23 was accordingly read.
