HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-11-20Minutes of Regu~ r Meeting of Board of Aldermen~of City of Riveraid®, Missouri November 20,b962 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen ofCity of Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, on November 20,1962 at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen H. Brenner, W. Brenner, Clark Bwena, Swetnam and Young were present, and Mayor Filger callingsaid meeting to order. Yfinutes of regular meetings of October 23 and November 6, 1962 were read and accepted as read. Treasurer and Collectors reports for month of October were read and accepted as read. H. Brenner moved that Remodeling application of Lee Bush; Remodeling application of rir. Cox; and Remodeling application of Mr. Benanate be approved, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and all voted in favor. Mr. Ernest Renner inquired whether the road running from Highway 45 passed the Rancho could be repaired and perhaps black topped, and he was advised this matter would be looked into. Mr. Booth inquired regarding the remainder of his bill on the installation of culverts on the north aide of High Drive in front of the City Hall, and this matter was to b® taken up with the engineer and more information gotten. H. Brenner moved that Bill No. D-62-21 being bill providing for the appropriation of money out of the Gnneral Fund of the City of Riverside, Missouri for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein be placed on its first reading, theconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H-Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-ay®; Clark-age Owens-aye; Swetnam-aye; and Young-a ye, Bill No. D-62-21 was accordingly read. H. Brenner moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-62-21 be placed on its second reading, sec onded by Claf~k, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-aye; Clark-ere; Owens-a;~re; Swetnam-ape; and Young-aye. Bill No. D-62-21 was a ccordingly r?ad. H. Brenner moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-62-21 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same b ecome Ord. Y3oC D-62-21, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-eye; Cla rk-a~-e; Owens-aye; Swetnam-ante; Young-aye; Bill No. D-62-21 was accordingly read, approved by Mayor F3~ger and became Ordinance No. D-62-21. Swetnam moved that Bill No. 55-2 being bill declaring it to be unlawful for any person to give false or mi_sle6~ding information to any police officer ~ as to interfere with the orderly investigation by such police officer or any suspected violation of the City Ordinances-and providing for penalty for violation of the terms hereof, seconded by Clark, the roll was c alled and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-aye; Clark-aye; Owens-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-ay®; and Bill No. ~-55-2 was accordingly read. H.Brenner moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 5 5-2 be placed on its second reading, s ~-:c onded by W.
