Regi3ar meeting of Board
of Aldermen, October 16,
1962.
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of
Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall in R iverside, Missouri
on October 16, 1962, at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen
H. Brenner, W. Brenner, Clark, Owens, Swetnam and Young were present,
Mayor Filger calling said meeting to order.
Minutes of meeting of October 2, 1 962 were read and
accepted as read. Treansurer~a report for month of September, 1 962,
was read and accepted.
Mr. Bill Paris presented Business License application to
opeate an ambulance business in Riverside, Missouri.
H. Brenner moved that Mr. Dorsey be requested to draw up
ordinance wherein it is unlawful for any person to give false
information to police officer and providing penalty therefor,
seconded by Young, the roll was called and all voted infavor.
More police car data was obtained by Young and Bill Woods
Ford requested that they be given opportunity to bid again on the
car, as th~b furnished bid on a higher priced car than the City had
in mind pul~hasing.
H. Brenner monad that Lloyd Land Company~a application
for residence permit be approved, seconded by Owens, the roll wsa
called ~ d e:~$o~oisedeiasfator.
W. Brenner moved that the application of Raymond Sinclair
license for liquor by the drink be approved if checked out negative
with the police department, seconded b1 H. Brenner, the roll was c gilled
and all voted in favor.
Swetnam moved that the bill received from Booth for installing
culverts and the culverts be sent to Mr. Wilson and copy be sent to the
investors, seconded by H. Brenner, the roll wasoalled a ndall voted infdbor
H. Brenner moved that Bill D-62-20 being bill providing for
the appropriation o f money out of the general fund oS the City of
Riverside, Missouri P or the payment of certain indebtedness as listed
there in b e placed on its first reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll
was called and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-eye; W-Brenner-eye;
Clark-aye; Owens-eye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. D-62-20
wsa accordingly read.
Swetnam moved that rules b e suspended and Bill No. D-62-20
be placed oni to second reading, a eeonded by Clark, the roll was c alled
and votes were ea follows: H.Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-aye; Clark-aye;
Owens-aye; Sutnam-aye; Young-ays; andBill No. D-62-20 was accordingly
read.

and upon passage of a ame become Ord. No. D-62-20, seconded by Swetnam,
the roll was called and votes were as follows: H.Brerner-aye; W.Brennr

accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. D-62A20.
Clark moved meeting adjourn, seconded by W. Brenner, Meeting adjourned.
