Board of Aldermen of City
of Riverside, Missouri
A regular meeting of the-Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside,
Missouri was held in the City Hall, October 2,1962, at 8:00 p.m. and upon
e roll-call, Aldermen H. Brenner, Clar k, Owens, Swetnam, and Young were
present, W. Brenr~er,abaent and Mayor Filger calling said meeting to order.
Minutes of regular meeting of September 18, 1962 were-read and accepted
as read.- Collectorta report for month of September 1962, was read and
accepted.
Mr. Daratta presented petition to the Council opposing or
protesting the rezoning of the property In Seven-Oaks Addition for
Water Tower, this was dono in ~ ecordance with Section 12 of the City
Ordinance No. 31}.
H. Brenner moved that Bill Nol' D-62-19 being bill providing for
the appropriation of money out of the general fund of the City of River-
side for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein be placed
on its first reading, seconded bT Owens, the-roll was celled and votes were
as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W.-Brenner-absent; Clark-ayes Owens-aye;
Swetnam-eye; Young-aye; and Bill No. D-62-19 was accordingly read.
Clark moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-62-19 b e
placed on its second reading, aeconded.by Swetnam, the roll was called
and votes-were as follows: H.Brenner-e ye; W.Brenner-a~ignt; Clark-aye;
Owens-aye; Swdnam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. D-62-19 was accordingly
read.

accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. D-62-19.
Mr. Bill Markey requested permit frog. the City of Riverside,
to carry a gun in his automobile, he stated he had a permit to purchase
a gun which w ea giveln him by Kansas City, Kans,~ s; however the City of
Riverside could not issue any permit.
Young moved meeting adjourn, seconded by H. Brenner, meeting
adjourned.
