HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-05-15MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF BOARD OF ALDERMEN CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI MAY 15, 1962 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri, May 15, 1962, at 8:00 p.m, and upon a roll call, Aldermen H. Brenner, Clark, Owens, and Swetnam were present, W. Brenner and Young absent, and Mayor Filger calling said meeting to order. Treasurers report for month of April, 1962 was read and accepted as read. The matter of roads was discussed and then a ten minute recess was called. The meeting reconveniened, the roll was called and aldermen H. Brenner, Clark, Owens, and Swetnam was present, W. Brenner and Young, absent and Mayor Filger presiding over remainder of meeting. H. Brenner moved that Bill No. D-62-10 being bill providing for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein be placed on its first reading, seanded by Clark, th.e roll was called and votes were as follows; H. Brenner-aye; Clark-aye; Owens-aye; and Swetnam-aye; W. Brenner-absent axl Young-absent; Bill No. D-62-10 was accordingly read. Clark moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-62-10 be placed on its second reading, seconded by H. Brenner, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-a~reQnt Clark-aye; Cfwnes-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-a~reent; and Bill No. D-62-10 was accordingly read. Clark moved that rules be suspended and bill No. D-62-10 be placed on its third reading and if same be passed it become ordinance No. D-62-10, seconded by H. Brenner, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H-Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-ablsent, Cla.rk- aye; Ownes-aye; Swetnam-aye; and Young-aye, Bill No. D-62-10 was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ordinance No. D-62-10. H. Brenner moved meeting adjourn, seconded by Clark, meeting adjourned Minuted read and accepted as readthis 5th day of June, 1968. ~'. `~~~,~-rte ayor
