Brenner, Nelson, :,wetnam and Young; were present, W. Brerrer,absent, and Nia;~or Fiber calling, said meeting to order. rlinutes of meet_ng of February 6,1962, were read and accepted as read. H. Brenner n;oved the city hire a building inspctor for 20~ of each building arplication or p_rmit granted and said inspector to furnish City report on inspecti~r every visit he makes to the construction, seconded by Clark, the roll was called ar,dvotes were as folJ_ows: ~J.Bre,rner-aye; 'ru.~rerrer-absent; Clark-aye; Nelson-aye Swetnam-aye; and Young,-a;~e. Nielson moved that the City employ er,~ireer to check Hi~,h Drive in front of City Hall B:.il3ing to see how to handle the water drainage; seconded by Clark, the roll was c ailed and votes were ~ s follows: Clark-aye; :I. i~,renner-aye; G~'. Brenner-absent: Swetnam-ale; Nelson-a~*e; 2nd Young-a.ye. It was suggested a letter be written Missouri State Highway De}~tment regarding numerous eompalints on the land slides on Highways 71 and 1a.5. H. Brenner moved that Southwestern Bell Telephone Company be given permission to install tele~:hone booth on City~s property at City Hall, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were asfollows: H.Brenneriaaye; W.Brenner-absent; Clark-aye; Nelson-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye. H. Brenner reHprted on securing sign advising how to contact a policeman in Riverside, etc. Nelson moved that Bill No. 199-6 being bill providing for the promotion oP Robert R. Clark to Sgt. and increasing said C h~rk~s salary X15.00 per month, making same 365.00, becoming effective February 15, 1962, seconded Y_.y H. Brenner, the roll c"~ss called and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; tJ.Brenner-absent; Cl.a_rk-aye; Neb on-aye; Swet~~am-aye; and Young-aye; Bill No. 199-6 ~f,as accord~ng1y read. Nelson moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 199-6 be plr,ced oh its second reading, second ed by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes were as f ollowa: H.F_.rennera-aye; td.3renner-absent; Clark-aye; Nelson- ye: Swetnam-aye; Younq-aye; and Bill No. 199-6 was accordingly read. Meeting Heb. 2~, 1962 - P~~ge 2 H.Brenner moved that Bill No. D62-l~ being bill providing for the appropri-~tion of money out of the general fund of the City of Riverside, Missouri for the paym.-nt of certain indebtedness as listed therein be placed on its first reading, seconded ~y Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; GJ.firenner-a~e9nt; Clark-aye; Nelson-aye; S~etnam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. D-62-l~ was accordingly rand. Nelson moved that rul~.:s be suspended and Bill No. D62-!E be placed on its second reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as folloa;s; H.Brenner-ayes W.Brenner4absent; Clark-aye; Nelson-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. D62-1E ~:as actor dingly read. Clark moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D62-!a. be placed on its thrid reading, and if same b® passed it be a ome Ord.
