., Minutes of Regular Meeting Board of Aldermen City of Riverside, Missouri A regular meeting of Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall on August 15, 1961, a t 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, Aldermen H. Brenner, W. Brenne r, C b rk, Nelson, Swetnam and I'oung were present. CollcctorTS reports for months of June and July, 1961 were read and accepted as read. Treasurers report for July, 1961, was read and accepted as read. Mrsl Kloster presented petition conta::ning 32 names and addresses of people in her neighborhood who would not object to Mrs. Kloster having a beauty shop in her home. It was suggested that she write letter to Zoning Board and present her petition to it. She stated she did not want the property rezoned, but just permission for her to have the shop in her home. Ij. Brenner moved that Bill No. 246-2 being bill providing for the acceptance of an addition known as Northwood Heights, a subdivision of land in the Southeast (1~4) one-quarter of Sec$t~n 32, towns'nip 51,' Range 33, inthe City of Riverside, Platte County, Missouri '.;e placed o14z its first reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follocJS: :I. Brenner-aye; W.Brenner-aye; Clark-a;n;; Nelson-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young}~aye; and Bi11 No. 246-2 was accordingly read. Nelson mooed that rules be suspended and Bill No. a46-2 be placed on its second reading, seccnded by W.Brenner, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H-Brenner-aye; W. Brenner-aye; Nelson-aye; Clark-a,ye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill PTo. 246-2 was accordingly read. Clark moved that rules be suspended and Bill PIo. 246-2 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ordinance No. 204.6-2, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and voL-es were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; W-Brenner-aye; Clark-aye; Dtelson-aye; Swe~narr~-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. 214.6-2 was accordingly read, appro-~ed Tay Tiayor Filger and became Ord. Brenner moved that Bill No. 246-3, being bill accepting a certain plat of Robant Levelopers, resurvey of ammended plat of Northwood Acres, Tracts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, Subdivision of Tract 18, Riverside, Missouri be placed on its first reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll w~~s called and votes were as follows: H.Brenner-aye; 1d.Brenner-aye; 61ark-aye; Nelson-aye; Swetnam-any-e; Young-aye; and Bi11 No. 21.4.6-3 was accordingly read. Clans rnoved that rules be suspended and Bill DTo. 246-3 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Nelson, the roll was called and votes were as follows: H. Brenner moved that riles be suspended and Bill No. 246-3 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord. No. 246-3, seconded by W. Brenner that the City purchase one fire fighter suit,,,,, two ~~?nter coats for Clark-and Perrine and the Bluing of Perrinets gun ~C'~ and seconded by H. Brenner, the roll was called and all voted in favor. 1_~ Young moved that the sign committee look into the matter of ~uT ordining block mimber signs to be installed on the sign posts in Riverside, seconded by Clark, the roll ti~Jas called and votes were as fo1_lows: H.Brenner j Aye; ?^1.Brenner-aye; Clark-aye; Nelson-a,ye; Swetnam-~,-~; and Young-aye. ~. ~\ Page 2- Regular Meeting of Board of Aldermen Au~ustl„ 1961 Clark reported in ~~etting bid to do work on Northwood Road, which is la.3o+x18+, the work would consist of p~~tching the holes and black topping, the black topping would cost y~163.L~.0 plus ~80.i)0 for patch work, or a total of 'j~2l~3.L~0. Clark also reported that it would cost 31.00 per hour for blading and ditching the roads which are gravel, Norwood, Sunset, Nortorood. Clark moved that Northwood road be patched for y~80.00 and the gravel roads be bladed a.nd ditched, trying to get tht.s done for same price, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and all voted in favor. H. Brenner r~~oved that rules be suspended and bi_11 No. 206-3 being bill rec;uiring that any perso~i constructing any culvert, drain or driveway openings in the City of Ri verside shall first submit plans therefor and obtain a permit; prohibiting the changing of contour of streets right of wavy; prohibiting the obstruction or alteration of ditches or drains along side and adjacent to city streets in the City of Riversides and providing a penalty for the violation thereof, seconded by Clad the roll was called and votes were as follows: H.
