A regular r„eating of the ~'oard of Aldermen of the City
®f Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Half in Riverside, Mo.
January 5, 1960 at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen
Clark, ffielson, ivlcKeon, Swetnatr~, and Young were present and
Klamm absent.
Minutes of meeting of December 15, 1959 were read and
accepted as read. Collectors report for month of December, 1959 read
and accepted as read.
Mr. Ray Bennett in quired with regard to starting a taxi
business in the City and he was given a copy of ordinance pertaining
to same.
Clark moved that Bi11 No.I)80~~ being bill appropriating
money out of the general fund of the City of Riverside, Missouri
for the payment of certain indebtedness as follows be placed on its
first reading:

Vernon Davis(Food for Prisoner)

Maurice J. DeHaemer(Workmen~s Comp. & Town Liability)

Donald L. Sengker (Asst Chief of Police 177.79 plus 12.33 feeding
prisoners )
John J. Brice (Lt.)
Robert R. Clark(Patrolman)
Russell G. Piburn(patrolman)
Standard Sealcoat Company(Rock for roads)

Seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes were as follows:
Clark-aye; Klamm-absent; Nelson-ay®; McKeon-aye; Swetnam-ay e; Young-aye
end Bill No. D~O;~ wqs accordingly read.
Nelson moved that rules be suspended and Bill N®. TJfi071
be placed on its second reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called
and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klamm-absent; Nelson-aye;
McKeon-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; and B 11 No. D-60-1 was accordingly
read.
Clark moved that rules b e suspended and Bi11No. D-60-1 be
placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord. No.
D-60-1, seconded by Nelson, the roll w as called and votes were as
follows: Clark-ages Klamm-absent; Nelson-aye; McKeon-aye; Swetnam-aye;
Young..-aye; and Bill N®. D-60-1 was accordingly read, approved by
Mayer Filger and became Ord1 No. D-60-1.
Clark moved meeting adjourn, seconded by Nelson, meeting
adjourned.
Read and accepted as read this
day of January, 1960.
