HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960-09-06Minutes of Regular Meeting of Board of Aldermen of Bity of Riverside Missouri September ~, 1960 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the city hall on September 6, 1960 at 8:00 p.m, and upon a roll call, aldermen Clark, Klamm, Nelson, McKeon, Swetnam and Young were present. Mayor Filger calling said meeting to order. Mayor Filger appointed Marshal Davis and Sgt, Clark to proceed in accordance with Mr. Dorsey's letter of September §; 1960 with regard to cleaning up Green's Trailer Park. Klamm moved that Davis and Clark make the necessary inspection of Green's Trailer Park, get the necessary papers to be completed from Mr. Dorsey and serve same on the Trailer Park in accordance with Mr, Dorsey's letter of September 6, 1860 and City's ordinances 171 and 154, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and all voted in favor. McKeon moved that Clark call Mr. Horsey and ask him if the papers are completed on the widening of the road from Highway 69 to City Hall, if same are not competed he should do so immediately, seconded by Klamm, the roll was called and all voted in favor. Asst, Chief of Police Seneker's resignation as of September 12, 1960 was accepted. McKeon moved that Bi11 No. D-6o-16 being bill providing for the appropriation of funds out of the general fund of the City of Riverside for the payment of certain indebtedness to employees and creditors be placed on its first reading, seconded by Klamg the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark3aye; Klamm-ayeg Nelson-aye; McKeon-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. D-6o-16 was aceordingl~i read . Klamm moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-6o-16 be°_placed'.on its second reading, seconded by Nelson, the roll was called and votes were asl#'ollows: Clark-aye; Klamm-aye; Nelson-aye; McKeon-aye Svetnam-aye; ~ogng-aye; and Bill No, D-6o-16 was accordingly read. Nelson moved the rules be suspended and Bill No. D-66-S6 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord. Na. D-6o-16, seconded by Klamm, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-ale; Klamm-aye; Nelson-aye; Swetnam-aye; McKeon-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. D-6o-16 was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. H-~0-16. Nelson moved meeting adjourn, seconded by Klamm, meeting adjourned. Read and accepted as read this~~t9ay of September, 1960
