Minutes of Regular Meeting of Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Mo. November 15, 1960 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of 'City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside Missouri on November 15,1960 at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Clark, Klamm, Nelson, McKeon, Swetnam were present, Mayor b'ilger absent and Acting Mayor Young calling said meeting to order. A representative ofContinental 6ssurance Company of Chicago, made a presentation of hospitalization to cover City employees. He presented a plan costing x!}8.00 per year per person and said they had other similar plans which costs more, but in accordance they also would pay more on certain disabilities or hospitalizations. In a group policy, this X48.00 plan would cost ~1~2.00 per person, or closely thereto. Klamm moved that the Marshall contact ulestei~n Contract Company for their building permit and that their building should be stopped until their application for buil9ing is approved b,y the council, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was cal led and votes were as follows: Clark,aye; Klamm-aye; Nelson-aye; Swetnam-aye; McKeon-aye; and Young acting as Mayor. Young suggested Mid-West Precote Company be written a letter when fo rwarding a check in partial payment of their statement advising them the road where in connects with U. J. Highway 71, has a low place in it which accumulates water and could become very hazardmuB, and ttnis place should b e corrected, after which, remainder of the statement will be forwr~rdeda Klamm moved that Bill No. D-60-21 being Bi11 providing for appropriation out of the general fund of the City of Riverside for the payment of certain indebtedness to employees a~ firms as listed therein beplaced on its first reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and voteswere as follows: Clark-aye; Klamm-aye; Nelson-aye; McFi©on-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young acting as Mgyor and Bill No. D-60-21 was accordingly ~ ad. Klamm moved that rules be suspended and Bi11 No. D-60-21 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Nelson, the roll wss called and votes we? e as follows: Clark-abe; Klamm-aye; Nelson-aye; Swetnam-aye; McKeon-aye; Young acting as Mayor, and Bill No. D-60-21 was a ccordingly read. Klamm moved that rules be suspended and Bil1No. D-6021 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of sar~ebecom~e Ord~~_nance No. D-60-c1, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klamm-aye; Nelson-aye; McKeon-aye; Swetnam-aye; and Young acting as Mayor. Bill F~'o. D-60-21 was accordingly read, approved by Acting Mayor Young arr3 became Ordinance No. D-60-21. Klamm moved meeting ad3ourn, seconded by Clark, meeting ad,jouned.
