Regular Meeting of Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Mo. A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Mo. on April 21, 1959 at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Clark, Klemm, Nelson, Swetnam, and Young were present, McKeon absent and P'agor Filger calling said meeting to order. Prinutes of Regular meeting of ~pri3 ~~ 1959 were read and accepted as read. Nr. Adams of the Riverside Bank spoke with regard to their pr®cedure of insuring the money Riverside has in its bank and left resolution to b® approved with regard to same. Pars. Clark reported on the roads in riverside needing gravel, stated the bottom road was in bad condition in parts and needed quit e a bit of gravel, the black top roads needed some spot repairs made, Rancho and Brenco roads needed about six loads orrore, Green's trailer court road was in bad condition, Tillison Road needed more gravel, Nandran Road needed did~hing and quite a bit of gravel, some gravel was needed for the mail boxes in Northwood Acres in the vicinity of Tabbies, Klemm road needed ,,ravel. Klemm moved that the road committee's su~gesti n for the repair of the roads in Riverside be accepted, seconded by Young, the roll was called and votes were as Poll®w s: Clark-aye; Klemm-aye; Nelson-aye; McKeon-absent; Swetnam-aye; and Young;-aye; It Kays suggested that someone discuss with the special road district the bill received f®r the work done on South Road, anaothat tie person be Mrs. Clark. It was su~-gested to ask Mr. Dorsey why he had charged tTaeh City of Riverside, Mo. for the work ha did with regard to the Levy, and als© remind him that any opinions or other information he is requested to secure for Riverside, that it be written and mailed or delivered to City of Riverside. Thereupon motion by Klemm bhat Bill No. 335 being bill amending Sec. 2 of Ordinance No. 34 by adding a paragraph describing District L thereto and amending paragraph D of Sec. 3 of Ordinance No. 34 of the City of Riverside by adding thereto _ the description of an additional z®ne to be included therein; and amending Sec. (} of Ordinance No. 3!} by the addition of a paragraph there- t0porividn~; the uses that can be made of District L, seconded by lv'elson, the roll was called and votes were as foll®ws: ,Clark-aye; Klemm-aye; Nelson-aye; N:eKeon-absent; Swetnam-sye; Young-aye; and Bill 1`'0. 335 be accordingly read. Clark moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 335 be placed on its second reading, seconded. by Nelson the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klemm-aye; Nelson-aye; McKeon- absent; Swetnam-aye; and Young-aye; Bill No. 335 was accordingly read. Klemm moved beat B'll No. 337 being Bill ~bo;7e~ddtr~five sections of the ordinances of the City of Riverside, Missouri, to be known as sections d, B, C, D, and E, declaring the policy and purpose of the City of Riverside, Missouri to a xtend to all eligible employees and officials of said city who are not excluded by law ®r by t.:9 s ordinance, and whether employed in connection with a govermental ®r proprietary function ®f said City, the benefits of the system of Federal Old-age and survivors insurance as authorized by the social security act amend:ents of 1950, and by senate committee substitute f®r Senate Bill No. 3 of the 66th General Assembly ®f the state of N.issouri and amendments thereof, together with all applicable rules and resultations relative thereto: authorizing and directing; the mayor to prepare, execute and submit to the division of budget and comptroller of the State of Pissouri, as state agency, a plan and agreement for extending said benefits t® said employees and officials and authorizing and directing the may®r and city clerk to execute agreemtns and modifications and amendments thereof with said state agency, providing for the extension of said benefits to said employees and officials as set forth in said plan; providing for deductions from the wages of tts employees andofficials of said city to whom said benefits are extended to be mrde and paid over as provided by the applicable state and federal laws and regulations, seconded by Young, the roll was called and v ©tes were as follows: Cler?S±sye; Klemm-aye; Nelson-aye; 1`1cKeon-absent; Swetnam-sye; Young-aye; and Bill No. 337 was according read.
