Collectors report flor May, 1959 was read and accepted as read. Mrs. Clark obta9.ned prices on black-top¢.ng and oiling roads in Riverside. Pir. William Brophy inquired as to the condition of the drainage from South Road and Highdrive Road, and it was decided to get the Cityf s Engytaneer~ s opinion as to the condition, and how it could be remedied. Judge Swetnam requested an ordinance be written with regard to vagrancy and upon motion by Clark that an ordinance be written by Mr. Dorsey, with respect to vagrancy, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klemm-a1~a~;Nelson-ays; PcKeon-aye; Swetnam-aye; and Young-absent. Clark moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 1,021 be placed on its first reading and providing for the appropriation of money out of the general fund of the City of Riverside, Missouri for the payment of certain indebtedness as follows: DonaldlL. I~Telson moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 1021 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were asf ollows: Clark-aye; Klemm-absent; Nelson-aye; McKeon-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-absznt and Bill No. 1021 was accordingly read. Clark moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 1021 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord.No. 1021, seconded by Nelson, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klemm-absent; Nelson-aye; McKeon-aye; Svietnam-aye; Young-absent and Bill No. 1021 was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and be- came Ord. No. 1021. Asst. Chief of Police Seneker reported he talked to the police department at Liberty, Missouri ra~th regard to the dog situation and they had the Wayside Waifs pick up the dogs wh'_ch cost them X10100 a trip, making no difference the number of dogs.to be picked up. Also the Wayside Waifs stated they were taking care of all the area they could, but if Riverside, could be worked in, they would advise.
