MINUTES OF REGULAR I~L_ETING OF BOARD OF ALDERMEN C F CITY OF RIVERSIDE, 2~:0. NOVEMBER l,`p, 1959 A regular meeting of the board of aldermen of 8ity of Riverside, P'tissouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Mo., ®n Novemberl$, 1959, at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Clark, Nelson, T~.cKeon, Swetnam were present, Klamm and Young; absent, and Mayor Filger calling said meeting t® order. Treasurer's report for month of October, 1959 was read and accepted as read. Mr. Hoffer demonstrated the Thermo-Fax mopying mact~:ine and with motion by Clark that the city purchase said maehl.ne and two boxes of paper with the understanding there ~s,uld be lots of sample paper and the c©st of the mac~ine being 295.00, seconded by Nelson, the roll was called and votes were as foll®ws: Clark-aye; Klarrsn-absent; Nels®n-aye; McKeon-aye; Swetnam-age; and Young-absent. McKeon moved that automobile sticke rs in the am ount ®f X00 be ordered, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and notes were as f®llaws: Clark-sye; Klamm-absent; McKeon-aye; Nelson-sye; Swetnam-aye; and Young-absent. Clark moved that signs be put on all entrances t® City of Riverside stating"BUILDING PERMITS REQUIRED" and cards also be purchased for people to post at the place of their building so they may be seen by the public, and Mr. McKeon to purchase 'eoth signs and cam, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes were as full®w s: Clark-aye; Klamr'.- absent; Nelson-aye; McKeon-are; Swetnam-aye; and Y®ung-absent. The council inquired whether the ®rdinance had been received regarding minors who had in their possession liquor, or who tried t® purchase liquer, and to ask Mr. D®rsey if he is working on it. Swetnam moved that Mr. SweetTS remecteling application be approved, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klamm-absent; Nelson-aye; McKeon-aye; Swetnam-sye and Young-absent. Nelson moved that bill No. 1032 being bill providing for the appropriation of funds out o,^ the general fund of the City~mf Riverside, P4issouri for the payment of certain indebtedness as follows be placed on its Pirst r:-ading: Donald L. No.1032, seconded by Clark, the roll eras called and votes were as full©ws: Clark-aye; Klamm-e~xe~nt; Nelson-aye; McKeon-aye; Swetnam-aye; and Y®un~-absent; Bill P?o. 1032 was accordingly read, approved by May®r Filger and became Ordinance No. 1032.
