A regular meetin of the Board of Aldermen of the Cit;~ of
Riverside, riissouri was held in the City Nall in Riverside, I~lissouri
on Januaryr•7, 1958, and upon a roll call, Aldermen Clark, Nelson,
Scrivner, McKeon and Young Present, Klamm absent, said meeting was
to order by Mayor Filger.

b1r. Victor Panus, visitor, inquired what decision the council
had come to with regard to the new road he proposed to construct in
Indian Hills and he was advised that the City's engineer should approve
these plans. He also presented a drawing of a new proposed road
to Indian Bills, stt~ting that Mr. Bucanan has agreed to set in the
and would use his large equipment for X12..0 a day, also that it w<s
agreeable to all prope rty owners to construct the road and they would
donate the property. Mr. Pants stated he and Bucanan agreed to put in
curbs but would like the city to participate with the paving of said
street. No amount of money was ~i.ven with regard to the cost of t'.:is
project and it was the councils decision to look at the place where
the proposed road would be and also the amount involved should be
presented to the council and it would be discussed fuether.
The police dep rtment requested permission to purchase
special investigation equipment and the sum involved would be
X10.00, upon motion by Clark that the equipment be purchased
seconded by Nelson, the roll was called and votes were as follows:

and Young-aye.
Young moved that letter received from I~less s. Clark, Krings,
and Bredehoft, attorneys at law, re€^arding expense incurred by
ILauis Starr for riaintenance of road in riverside be sent to
Mr. Dorsey, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as
follows: Ciak r-aye; Klamrn-absent; Scrivner-aye; Nelson-aye; P~icKeon-aye;
and Young aye;.
Scrivner moved that one load of rock be purchased for
the two drive-ins to the City hall, seconded by Clark, the roll was
called and votes were as follows: Clark-a~Fe; Klamm-absent;
Scrivner-aye; Nelson-aye; McKeon-aye; and Young-aye;
There upon.;l:crivner moved that B`_11 No. 305 being bill
providing for the appropriation ofmoney out of the general fund of the
@ity of Riverside for the payment of certain indebtedness as follows
be placed m its first reading:

Nelson moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 305 be placed
on its third reading; and upon passage of same become Hrdinance
No. 305, seconded by Scrivner, the ro:~l ~~aas cal-ed and votss were
as follows: Clark-a6e; Klaram-absent; Scrivner-aye; Nelsen-eye
N,cKeon-aye; and Young-aye; Bill Nol 305 was accordingly read,
approved by Tiayor Filger and became Ord. No. 305.
Nelson moved meeting adjourn, seconded by T~,cKeon, meeting
adjourned.
