A regular meet9.n~_ of the Board of Aaldermen of the Cite of
Riverside, Missouri was held ir. the City Gall in Riverside, on February 18,
1958 at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, Aldermen Clark, Klamm, Nelson,
Scrivner, Younr~ and T•:cKeon were present and said meetinF~, was calledto order
by Tr&ror Fi.l~*er.
Men representing the NorthK_ansss City Boys Base Ba 11 spoke
with regard ~o donation from the City of Riverside, Missouri toward the
cost of umpires and stated that the City would be billed eadh time a dame
was pJ_a~*ed on Riverside field. Upon motion by K~~mm that the City be
Authorized to pay the Dtmpth~~€a~is~s_-o3;ty ~oysBa$Hbail:ebea~e for games
played on the Riverside Ball Park for the cost of the umpiring as the
City is billed up to a maximum of ;240.00, seconded by Nelson the roll was
called ar~d all voted in favor.
Klamm moved ghat @eorge Thomas Goodell be accepted as a
probationary police officer, seconded by rtcKeon, the roll was called and
all voted in fafiaor.
Klamm moved that the City authorize Asst Chief of Police
Se :er to attend the short course for law enforcement officers at
Urii°versity of Missouri for three dais, starting Piarch 3 and ending
March 6, X958 and that he be given :50.00 from the treasureg of the
City for his expenses, seconded by Clark, the roll .ads called and i~1lr=po~ec2e

Scrivner moved that Bill No. 309 being: bill providini-_ for the
appropriation of money out of the General Fund of the City of Riverside
Missouri for the paymentof certain indebtedness as follows be placed on its
first re~dir.~:

PTelson moved that rules be suspended and Bill ido. 309 be placed on its third

accord; n~;ly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ordl No. 309.
Clark moved that Bill Pro. 310 beinn bill amending Ordinance No. 15
and providir_~ for the salar;* of the C9_tyCollector to be y25.00 per month
beginning ApriJ_ 1, 195~~ seconded by Nelson the ro:1 was called and votes
re as follows: Clrr k-aye; Klamm-aye; Nelson-aye; McKeon-aye; Scrivner-aye;
Young-aye and Bill No. 310 was accordingly read.
Klamm moved that b>$les be suspended and Bill No. 310 be placed on
its second re ad in~*, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as

aye; and Bill No. 310 was accordingly read.

aid providing for the salary of the Police Judge to be X72.50 per month
beginning April 1, 1958, seconded by McKeon, the roll was ca_l_led and votes
