HomeMy WebLinkAbout1958-08-05Minutes of Regular Meeting of Board of Aldermen ;f City of Riverside, Missouri August 5, l~ 8 A regular med%ing of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missazri,8pm August 5, 1958, and upon a roll call, Aldermen Clark, Klamm, McKeon Scrivner and Young were present and Nelson absent. Mayor Filger called said meeting to order. Minutes of July 15, 1958 Meeting weae read and accepted as read. C~llector~s report for month of July, 1958 was read and accepted as read. Clark moved that the necessary papers and resolutions be gotten up with regard to the post office in Riverside, Missouri, seconded by Scrivner, the roll wasc alled and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klamm-aye; McKeon-aye; Nelson-absent; Scrivner-aye and Young-aye; C].a rk moved that John Blogin, Jr. residential building perrmit be accepted and also that of W. Brewington for remoateling business building be accepted, seconded by Scrivner, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Kla mm-aye; Nelson-absent; M cKeon-aye; Scrivne r-aye; and Young-aye; Clark moved that Bill No. 1002 being bill providing for the appropriation of money out of the general fund of the City of Riverside Missouri, for the payment of certain indebtedness as follows be placed on its first reading: District Director of Internal Revenue Donald Seneker(Asst C'~ief of Police 174.78 plus 6.82 feeding prisoners) Robert R. Clark(Policing) Irene Paulhe (Sec. to Council) John J. Brice (Policing 135.56, plus 5.!{.2 feeding prisoners) George T. Goodell (Policing) Mrs. Helen Broph~r(Collector) Southwestern Bell Tel.
