OF BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF City of River-
side, Missouri
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the
City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the City j~all in Riverside
on February 19, 1957 at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, Aldermen
Cl~:rk- Klamm- Nelson- Scriver•- Sawyer- and Young were present,
Mayor Filger Calling said meeting to order.
Minutes of regular meeting of February 5, 1957 were
read and accepted as read.
Mr. W?site presented plans for Amreican Youth Center
and also applicat=i_on for building; same. and same was approved
by all members of the '~ouncil.
Mr. Teer wanted permission to start a tali cap :;:
business in riverside, but he was advised that the council would
have to tali to the City Attorney and receive certain information
from him before license for said business could be secured.
Motion by Young and seconded by Clark that the
council do not decide on the construction company making bid
for the completion of the C'_ty Hall Building this date abut that
the data and drawings of said plans be studied and a special
r.~eetin~c be called to decide on the construction cor;pany, the
roll was called and all voted in favor.

Mr. Sweig;ner again inquir~;d regarding his business
lincease and he was advise d the matter was still being worked on.
Youngmoved that the City purchase the Electronic Timer
which had been demonstrated and with second by Sawyer, the roll
was called and all voted in favor. The cost of said devi6e with
additional hose and cable would be 276.00.
Thereupon Nelson moved rules be suspended and Bill
No. 274 be placed on its first reading, said bill covering
appropriation of money out of the general fund of the City of
Riverside, I~iissouri for the :payment of certain indebtedness
as follows:

seconded by Cl^rk, the roll was called and votes were as follows:

and Bill Pto. 274 was accordingly read,

approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. IvTO. 273.
Scrivner moved that Mr. Senerker be given permission
to order Merle J. Teer police uniform, seconded by Klamm, the
roll was called and all voted in favor.
It was suggested and agreed upon that Mr. Dorsey
be consulted with regard to donation from City of Riverside
toward the American Youth Center bui'_ding.
Scrivnermoved meeting adjourn, second by Sawyer,
meeting adjourned.
