November 5,1957 of the
Board of Ald ermen of the
City of Riverside, Missouri
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of
Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall on November 5, 1957,
at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Clark, Klamm, Nelson,
Scrivner, McKeon, and Young were present, Mayor Filger calling
said meeting to order.
Minutes of Meeting of October 15, 1957 were read and accepted
as read.
Treasurer's report for month of October,l 957 was read
accepted as read. Collector's r sport formonth of October, 1 957 was
read and accepted as read.
Alderman Clark reported

Mr. David Swetnam reported on South Val ley Road, stated he
went to Platte @ity and found out that the road going w est off of
the black top road or High Drive waa fir a distance of 769 feet
has a right of way of 40 feet and thenseon farther west it has
only a 20 foot right of way, It was also reported that the portion
in f root of John Blogin's house was steaked off and then the
road farther westward could be widened to the forty foot width.
Klamm moved that the road committee look at the South Road, seconded
by Clark, the roll was called and all voted in favor.
Klamm moved that William Kalavis+s application for remoateling
be accepted, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and all voted in
favor.
Scrivner moved that rules be suspended and Sill No. X00
be placed on its f~rsd reading, said bill providing for appropriation
of money out of the general find of the City of Riverside, Missouri's
treasury for the payment of certain indebtedness as follows:

seconded by Nelson, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-
aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivner}9aye; Klan~n-aye; McKeon-aye; and Young-aye;
Bill No. 300 was accordingly read.
Clark moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 300 be placed on
its second reading, seconded by Klamm, the roll was called and votes
were as follows: Clark-aye; Klar~rn-aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivner-aye;
McKeon-aye; and Young, and Bill No. 300 was accordingly re~ld.
Nelson moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 300 be placed on its

third reading and if same be passed become Ord. No. 300, seconded
by Klamm, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-abe;
Klsr~an-aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivner-sye; McKeon-aye; and Young-aye;
and Bill No. 300 was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and
became Ord. No. 300.
K~~$ma moved meeting adjourn, 81ark seconded the motion
and meeting adjourned.
