City of Riverside, Missouri April 17, 1956 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Mi,_:souri wa.s held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri April 17, 1956 at 8:00 P.M. Upon a roll call, aldermen Clark, Nelson, Scrivner, Klemm, and Young were present, Traugott, absent. Minutes of meeting of April 3 ~~ read and approved as reed. Treasurers report for month of Marc s read and accepted. Bids for construction work of the City Hall Building were received and opened. Said bids were as follows: Amt. Co. 29,647.00 275.00 100 Watson construction 34,450.00 340.00 150 The Young Contracting Co. 32,229.00 328.00 75 Thereupon Klemm moved that Bill No. 234 being a bill prohibiting any person owning land within the limits of the city of Riverside from allowing any business to be operated on said land unless a current occupation license for such business if required by the ordinance of the city of Riverside shall have first been obtained, be glace~t on its Ni~stn:;e~~3ingldevonded by Nelson, the roll was ml.led and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klemm-aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivner-aye; Traugott-absent Young-aye; and Bill No. 234 was accordingly read. Thereupon Nelson moved that rules be suspended and bill No. 234 be placed on its second reeding, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-ayQg Klemm-aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivner-aye; Traugott-a~setnt; Young-aye; and Bill No. 234 was accordingly read , Therapon Scrivner moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 234 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord. No. 233, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were asl~ollows: Clark-aye; Scrivner-aye; Klemm-aye; Nelson-aye; Traugott-absent; Young-aye; Bill No. 234 was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord, No. 233. Thereupon Klemm moved that Bill No. 235 being. bill amending section one of Ord, No. 47 for the City of Riverside, Missouri, to correct typographical error therein, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klemm-aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivner-aye; Traugott-absent; Young-aye; and Bill No, 235 was accordingly read. Thereupon Scrivner moved that rules be suspended and bill No. 235 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Nelson, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klemm-aye; Nelson-ages Scrivner-aye; Traugott-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. 235 was accordingly read, Thereupon Klemm moved that rules be suspended and bill No. 235 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord. Thereupon Scrivner moved thatl$ill No. 236 being bill requiring all persons driving vehicles within the City Limits of the City of Riverside, Missouri, to have in their possession a, valid and current Driver's lcense duly issued or authorized by the State of such person's residence and providing that no person shall allow anyone else to operate such person's automobile unless such operator shall have a valid driver's license, and providing a penalty for the violation of the terms Yiereof, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klamrn-aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivner-aye; Traugott-absent; Young-aye; and bill No.-236 was accordingly read. Thereupon Clark moved that rules be suspended and bill No. 236 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Klamrn, the roll was called and votes w$re as follows: Clark-ale; Klamrn-aye; Nelson-ale; Scrivner-aye; Traugott-absent; Young-aye; and Bill No. 236 was accordingly read. Thereupon Klamrn moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. '36 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become )rd. No. 235, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-a6e' Klamrn-aye; I~lson-aye; Scrivner-aye; Traugott-absent; Young-aye; and bill No. 236 was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. 235. Thereupon Scrivner moved that Bill No. 237 being bill providing that no person shall operate any motor vehicle within the limits of the City of Riverside, Missouri unless such motor vehicle shall have displayed thereon a valid and current state license and providing a penalty for violation of the terms hereof, be placed on its first reading, seconded by Nelson, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klamrn-aye; Nleson-aye; Scrivner-a,ye; Traugott-abset; Young-a,ye; and Bill No. 237 was accordingly read. Thereupon Klamrn moved that rules be suspended a:nd bill No. 237 be placed on its second reading ~~~ seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klamrn-aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivner-a6e Traugott-a'psent; Young-aye; and Bill No. 237 was accordingly read. Thereupon Nelson moved that rules be suspended and Bill N 237 '~e placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become ord. Thereupon Nelson moved that rules be suspended and bill No. 238 be placed on its third wading and upon passage of same become Ord. No. 237, seconded by Klamrn, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-ale; Klamrn-aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivnerpaye; Traugott-absent; Young-aye; and Bill No. 23~ was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. Thereupon Nelson moed that rules be suspended and Bill No. 239 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Clark, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klamm-aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivner-aye; Traugott-absetnt; Young-aye; and Bill No. 239 was accordingly read. No. 238. Thereupon Klamm moved that business building permit for C. W. Bischof, Jr. be approved and building permit for garage for Mrs Winkleblack by D. L.
