Treasurers report for month of October, 1956 ti-ras read and asEepted
as read.
Fr. Ellis inquired re~!arding road specifications in Seven Oaks addition,
and he ~:as advised to consult the City~s Engineer, E. I. 2~ieyer.
Klaw!m xaoved that the City accept Williar± Boyd verbal resignation to
resign as ;olieer*an of the City o1' Riverside, effective the 15th day
of November, 1956, seconded by 61ark, the roll was Balled and
all votE;d in favor.
Young report=d on the progress of the Police Cem..r~ittee and
introduced 2~4r, S~~~an as :polieeraan on temporary ra cis.
Klaxtm moved that 30 loads of reek be ord eyed for the roads in
Riverside, including in front ofthe City Hall Buildings seconded
bTM CL:rk, the roll was Balled and all voted in favor.
Clark moved that we accept F. T. Traugott~s resignation as sounsilraan,
seeonded by Serivnsr, the roll vas called and all voted in f aver.
Clark moved that ~'r, Tom Sawyers resignation from the honing board
be accepted, seconded by IvTelson, the roll was balled and all voted
in favor.
Klar~srn moved that we accept business building permits of
relrar C. Adae~s, J. D, ~reCall, and Hudson Oil C~~wpany, seconded
by Young, the roll ~-gas called and all voted in favor.
After further discussion was had regarding policeman on a full time
basis, Cl^rk ~~+oved that Donald L. Seneker~tr be employed as polieem~n
as of T?over~ber 15, 1956, .for the sum of 300.00 per ptonth, seconded
by Serivner, the roll o-ras Balled and ~,~3e~roted in favor.
Clark r,~oved that Bill No. 2@6 being bill providing i'or a_,propriation
of r.*oney out of the general fun< of the City of Riverside to pay
certain indebtedness as follows be pl ced on its first reading;
