HomeMy WebLinkAbout1955-02-15A REGULAR M': ~sTING OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMc;N OF TH~~ CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri was held February 15, 1955, at the City Hall and upon a roll call, aldermen, Nelson, Panus, Scrivner and Young were present, Aldermen Clark and slam m were absent, Mayor Filr~er calling said meeting to m der. A proposed ordinance regarding contract with the Telephone Company of the City was read and Nr. Keeney of the Telephone Camp any presented a~,°oposed ordinance of the Telephone Company. After a discussio n was read egarding the license tax, it was agreed that Mr. Keeney would present~~hecouncil figures on wr~ich the telephone license tax would be based, at onr next regular meeting, March 1, 1955. Panus moved that a notice be published in the Platte County Gazette thatthere will be a public hearing on the ammendment of` the Zoning Ordinance to amend. said ordin~,.nce so that it will include the area annexed under Ord. /#76, according to the recommendation of the honing Commission, and on the same date, March 15, 1955, atthe City Hall in btiverside, Mo., at 7:00 P.T~1. a public hearing will be held on the pro osed amendment to the zoning law of the City of Riverside to allow residential construction in the Indian Hills Addition in Disi=rict A to be constructed cbser than 35 feet from the front pr op~rty line according to th.e recommendation of the zoning commission, second by Scrivner, the Roll was called and votes were as follows Panus-aye; Nelson-aye; Scrivner-aye; Young-aye; Clark-absent, and Klemm-absent.
