A regular meeting of the Bo<~rd of Aldermen oi' The City of
Riverside, Missouri bras held at the City Hall March 1, 1955 and upon
a roll call, Aldermen, Clark, Klamm, Panus, Nelson, Scrivner, and
Young were present, Mayor Fi~_ger calling said meeting to order.
1`Tinutes of previous regular meeting- of February 15, 1955 were read
and auproved,
Tr~asurer~s report for month of January, 1955 was read,
CollPctor~s report for :reburary was reed,
Mr, Keeney of the Telephone Company presented the approximate
receipts of the Telephone Co. for telephone :service in Riversid® for one
year period and asked that something be worked out accordingly,
There~.zpon Youn~* moved that Bill No. 182 being a bill relating
to persons, Firms, companies or corporations now or hereafter engaged
in business of f-rnishing exchange telephone service in the city of
riverside, N~issou.ri, ~~nd providing for an annual license tax to be
paid by such persons, :i'irms, companies or corporations, beplaced on its
first reading, second by Nelson, the roll was called and votes were as
follows: Clark-aye; Klamm-aye; Nelson -aye; Panus-aye; Scrivner-aye;
and Young-aye; anu bill No,lt32 was accordingly read,

Thereupon Yanus moved that bill No. 182 be placed on its
second reading, second by Young;, the r.~ll was called and votes were
as follows: Clark-afire; Klamm-aye; N:~lson-aye; Panus-aye; Scrivner-aye;
~~nd Young-aye; and Bill No,182 ~1as accordingly read,
Thereupon Klat~m moved that rules be suspended and Bill No,182
be placed on its third reading; and upon passage of same become Ord, No,18~,
second by Scrivner, the roll was called and votes were as follows;
Clark-aye; Klamm-aye; Nelson-aye; Panus-aye; Scrivner-aye; and Young-aye;
and. bill Tdo, 182 was accordingly read, aoproved by Mayor Filger and be
came ordinance No, 181,
Thereupon Klamm moved that the following applications
for buildine~permits be passed upon aid a?proved;

second by I~Telson, the roll was called and all voted in favor,
It as decided and agreed upon to write Dig, Holloway advising
him of ordinance to be passed regarding tax to beplaced on persons, firms
or co rNorations supplying water to residentional, commercial or
industrial users in the city of Riversici e, which would be disco ssed at
our next regul,:~r meeting, Mar ch 15, 1955,
Thereupon Scrivnermoved that Bill Ido, 183 being;. a bill
providing for the appro~piation of money _;ut of the gener~~1 fund of the
City of Riverside, No, for the payment of certain indebtedness as follows;
