A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of
riverside, Missmari was held in the City Hall in Riverside and upon a
roil call, aldermen Clark, Klamm, Nelson, Panus, Scrivner and Young were
present, Mayor Filger calling said meeting to m der,
Minutes of previous meeting of March 15, 1951.1. were read and
approved as read.
Collector+s report for month of February waa.> read.
Mayor Filgerapcointed Committee of Young, Klamm and Clark
to $~tda3atthblinf ormation they could regarding City having their own
water plant.
Scrivner reported Mr, Bain of Northwood acres would like to
start a nursery on his Iz'operty a~~ wanted to know if he needed a permit,
but it w~_s decided by the council i7is type of agriculture a permit would
not be necess~xry,
Scrivner advised the council the.t the county road commissioners
were going to have their regular meeting at 9 o+clock Sat. Morning, Mar, 19
and thought Riverside+s road committee should be present at meeting and
state what repairs were needed on the roads in the city and request their help
in repairing the roads and it was decided Nelson and Young wnzld go to
said meeting, representing the City. However prior ta_the meeting Sat.
the aldermen would look over the roads in Riverside and decide what
repairs need be done.
Thereupon Panus moved that Warren Brenner and Hudson, Inc,+s
application for busine ss building permits be approved, secondby Clark,
all voted in favor,
Thereupon Young moved that bill No. 185 being a bill
appointing the following judges of election in City of Riverside
April 5, 1955: Mrs, Tom Sawy-=r; Mrs. James Galletti; Mrs. Donald Sneed;
Mrs. John "renner; Mrs, Julia ~'skridge; Mrs. Berniece Davis; Mrs. D. B.
Swetnam; sirs. Arthur Davis; Mrs. Lucille Daniels and Mr, Floyd Moore,
second by Klamm, the roll was called and votes Caere as follows: Clark-aye;
-'~lamm-a;,re; Dlelson-aye; Panus-absent; Scrivner-aye; and Young-aye; and
Sill ?,TO. 185 i•:as accordingly read.
Thereupon Nelson moved that rules be suspended and that
b ill NoJ- 185 be placed on its second reading, second by Clark, the roll
was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye; Klamm-aye; Panus-absent;
Nelson-aye; Scrivner-aye; Young-aye; ana Bill No. 185 iaas accordingly read.
Thereupon Clerk moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 185
be placed on its third r adng and upon passage of same, become Ord. 181.x.,
second by Klamm, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-afire;
Klamrr-aye; Nelson-aye; Panus-absent; Scrivner-aye; Yota.ng-age; and Bill
No, 185 was accordingly rea d, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. 18L}.,
Thereupon Klamm moved that Bill No. 186 being a bill providing
for the apj?ropriation of money out of the general fund of the City of River-
side for the payment of certain indebtedness as follows:

Thereupon Klamm moved that rules
be placed on its third reading and upon passage
second by Nelson, the roll was called and votes

Ordinance No.185.

Thereupon Klamm moved that bill No. 18~ being a bill
canvassing; the returns~.~f the judges of the general city election held
on Anril 5, 1955, for City offices and declaring the results thereof
and provii ina for the issuance of certificates of election; second by
Nelson, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-aye• Klairnn-aye;
Nelson-aye; Panus-absent; Scrivner-aye; Young-aye; and bill no. 1~7 was
accordingly read;
Thereupon Nelson moved thatrules be suspended and Bill No. 187
be ~lacedon its second reading, second by Klamm, the roll was called and

Scrivner-aye; Young;-aye; and Bill No. 187 was ^ccordingly read;
Thereupon Clark moved thatrules be suspended and bill No. 187
