A regular oeeti.n~ of the hoard of F•ldern!en of the
City of Riverside was held at the Cit~* Hall it Riverside, Tlay 17,1955
at °:00, upon a roll tail, Aldermen Clark, Klaim, T~elson, 8crivnes
and Young were present, Traugott, absent, ^nd P".ayor r~il~er calling
said _~r_eet:in^~, to order.
T:irutes of T~!a.y 3, 1955 meatin~ were read and correct-~_ons
made that the City of Riverside ~aoul.d contribute ~j200.00 to the R5
S~m-~i~~~er Resre~±i_on Program subject to N~.r. Dorsey's approval, and
Tyr. Young requested that it be nut ir. the rnirutes of T~.ay 3, that
he would remove the icehouse he anticipated installing on 30 da.y
notice. Said minutes t.~ere then approved as corrected.
Tre~:surer's report for rr_onth of A;~~ril, 1955 was
read.
Young and. T?elson re;;;orted on their rr.:>etin~;, with the
Special Road Distrzet ^nd that u:eetin~-; tin=s t~iad on Sunday ria_y 17
and the main topic be9_nr; the repavin of D;orthti~ruod road, but
the Special Road District would not admit just what they would
do on any of the Roads in Riverside. Young also stated .he
asked P: r.. Dorsey to investi ate the matter to see how the city could
~Tet out of the Special Road District.
