A regular meeting of the Board. of Aldermen of the City
of Riverside, Mo. was held. in the city hall. in Riverside, Decerr_ber 6,
1955 at 8:00 P.I.. and upon a roll cal]1, alderrcen, Clark, Scrivner,
Klamm, Trau~ott and Young, were present, Nelson absent, a.nd Iltayor
Filger calling; said meeting; to order.
Clark rr.oved that correct~;d. plate be accepted for the two
unnamed roads in Renner Plaza #{6, su~~ect to D'rm. Dorsey¢~s approval
seconded by Young, the roll was called and votes were as follows:
Clark-aye; Klamm~-aye; Scrivner-aye; Nelson-absent; Traugott-aye;
and Young-aye;
Yang reported IYtr. Dorsey is betting polling data together
so that Riverside can have a place to vote for the coming election
of the special road district.
Young also reported the special road district decided
to pay for all of the culvert installed on the West Riverside Ilin°.it~s
boundry road.
Collectors Report for mort'r~ of Nov. 1955 was read.
A letter dated December 6, 1955 from N,r. Dorsey to
Nor and Iris. Feed Filger was read, said letter referred to several
small items to be cleared up before the City would accept the
warranty deed to the property Riverside was purchasing from
Mr, and h'r~s. Filger and the balance of the purchase price paid.
A meeting and~or hearing was held Tuesday, Dec. 6, 1955,
at 7:30 P.Hi. ~~aid hearing:. was on the vacation of all streets,
avenues and alleys dedicated to public use upon the plat of
Barnard Place, as filed for record and recorded in Buok 24 at
pages 71~ and 75 in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Platte
County, N~o., There was no opposition, therefore action was taken
to vacate sAid streets.
Thereupon Scrivner moved that B_11 217 being; a b-ill for
vacating the streets, avenues and alleys in Barnard Place, a
Subdivision of land in the Gity of Riverside, Plate Bounty, Dzn.
be placed on its firse reading, second by Clark, the roll was called
and votes were as follows: Clark-a6e; Klanun-sye; Nelson-absent;
Scrivner-aye; Trau~ott-aye; Young,-aye; and Bill No. 217 was
accordingrly read.
Clark moved that rules be suspended. and bill no. 217 be
placed on its second reading;, second by Young, the roll was called
end votes were as follows: Clark-a6e; Kla.nm--aye; lvelson-a~ae~nt;
::crivner-aye; Traugott-aye; Young-aye and bill 1''0. 217 was accordingly
read.
Clark moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 217 be
placed. on its third reading and. upon passe-e of same becovre Ord. No. 216,
second by Klamm, the roll wqs tailed and votes were as fol7tows:

Young;-aye; and bill No. 217 was accordingly read, ~ proved by
Iriayor Fiber and became Ord. No. 216.
Thereupon Clark moved that Bill No. 218 being a bill providing
for the appropriation of money out of the general fund. of the City
of Riverside for bhe payment of certain indebtedness as follows

It was reported by Young that Police Departr,ent needs a
