A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Cit y
of Rives-side, Mo., was held °n the City Hall in Riverside, Nio.,
December 20, 1 955 at 8:00 P.m. and upon a roll call, Aldermen
ILlamm, Nelson, Scrivner, and Young were present, Clark and Traugott
absent., Mayor Filger callinlT said meeting to order.
r`ir_utes of Nieet9_ng of December ~6 were read and approved as
read. Treasurer's report for month of November, 1955 was read.
Messrs. Adams and Adams discussed with the council their
possibility of purchasing Green'stTrailer Camp and continue running
the place as a trailer park. ~K~;?41fi The council informed the Ada:"s
the property on which the Trailer Park was could not be so]i for the
purpose of a trailer park and that since the trailer park is now
non-conforming, it would have to be taken before the adjustment or
zoning board and Mayor Filger stated he would call Horsey in the
matter.
Scrivner reported r1r. Moore would be willing to sell Cit y
Car Stickers in his store and after a discussion was had on the
matter, it w^s decided to get a receipt b~,ok for him and he
could sell the stickers in his store.
It was su~^~ested the water c,mpany be again reminded
of the water h#drants to be installed in the City.
Thereupon Y~arng moved that rules be suspended and. Bill
No. 2;19 be placed on its first reading, said bill being a bill
providing for the a7propriation of money out of the general fund of
the C:i.ty of Riverside for the payment of certain indebtedness as
follows:
Policeman Salary and N~arghall(1~2 month) 150.00

and Bill Nol 219 was accordingly read.
Thereupon Nelson moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 219
be placed on itssecond reading,, seconded by Klamm, theroll was called
and votes were asfollows: Clark-absent; Klamm aye; Nelson-aye;~_as accord-

and Young-aTTe; Bill T~?o. 219 was accordingly read, approved by
Mayor Filger and became Ordinance No. 21 .
After a discussion was had, Young movedthat the boys belonging
to the hot-rodclub could use the City Hall for their meetings under
the supervision of 6J, H. Boyd, second by 3crivner,eheNelsonWayecalled
and votes were as follows: Clark-absent; Klamm-ay ,
Scrivner-aye; Traugott-absent; Young-aye;
Klamm movedthat meeting adjourn, second by Nelson, meeting
