The ~~.eeting ws~s called to order by T~':ayor Filger. Tr_ereupon Panus reported th.~ t the one-man comsiittee on the namin~° of the streets in the City of Riverside was working; out very well. Panus suggested that a bill be passed and become an cx~dinance regarding and providing; for vacation of any public square, park, street, etc. and after discusses cf same Panus moved that dill No. 133 beinp_; a bill providing; vocedure for the v~~cation of any public square, public park, street, avenue, alley, or other highway or part thereof in thed City ofkRiverside, Missouri, be placed on its first reading.Se~~ r~~l~~~ ca.lled and the votes were as follows: Beach Aye; Clark, aye; Klemm-absent; Panus, aye; Scrivner, aye; Young-aye and Bill No. 133 was read accordingly. Thereupon Panus moved th<~t rules be suspended and that Bill '~?o. 133 be placed on its second rea.din~?;, se conc. by Beach, the roll was called and the votes were as follows: Beacn-aye, Cl~.rk-aye, Klemm-absent, Panus, a.ye; Scrivner°-aye, Younr-aye , and Bill PTo. 133 was rc~_ d ac c o rdi n ply . Thereupon Clarlnoved that rules be s<spended and thst Rill b?o. 133 be placed u?-on its third reading and that u;oon passage of same become Ordinance No. 133, second by Young, the roll was called and the votes were as follows; Be^ch-aye; Clark-aye; Klarrm-absent; Panus-aye; Scrivner-aye; Young-aye. Bill No. 133 was accordingly read, declared passed, and was approved by N;ayor A'ilger and became Ord'.nance ~?o. 133. Young was appointed as a commi+.-tee of one to contact the Fi~;h~•ray department to put up the sign on the ";Jest Gity Limits of the Cit;r o~ Riverside, Psi scurf on Hig~tizay 45. Thereuron a discussion wa_s had in regard to tY;.e c~_r expense ail~wance to be raid, C. E. Atwell, Andrew Batliner and Lee Le:~~~o~nd~~t]~odn~^mr~° e~°n5by Clark that the maximun allowance be made°s eoncc`~f by ~erivner, all voted in favor. Young reported on budget cor~mittee The City of Riverside could buy a195t~ ~~.-door Ford with. al]. accessories 'or Y1600.00. 2-door Chevrolet with no extras, ~"13L~8.00 and Dodge, with accessories ''~?_100.00. Chevrolet dump truck, 2-ton,~1680.32, additional equipment extra.. Fmd dump truck, equipped with 10 f.'t, durtip bed, completely ~quirned, x'2200.00. Hahn expressed his willingness to work most every day up until L4.:00 p.m. and that he would have cards printed with Messrs. Atwell, Lemon and his name on them. These cards w~~uld snow where the foregoing men caz ld be reached and ,:hen they were on duty. The cards would be placed dear the telephone in the ~-ub].ic businesses in the laity of Riverside. Therein=on Beach reported that PT^ssrs.
