A regular meeting of the Board of Ald.errnen of the City of
Riverside, Missouri, was held at the City Hall on rla.rch 16, 1951-,
upon a roll call, aldermen Beach, Clark, Panus, Scrivner, Klamm
and Young were present. The meeting was tailed to order by rayor Filger.
Mr. Roy Renner reported on the price of the property where
Louie's Tavern'.is located which the 8ity of P,iverside might be interested
in purchasing for City I-fall, I~'irehouse,etc., The price was y~75.00
per runnin~~ foot and there was ai?proxi.mately 150 ft. frontage.
Scrivner reported on the road sins, they had been ordered
and would be herd this coning w eek, posts were also ordered with signs.
Panus reported on the water situat_on. Stated ~,aukomas was
interested in ~-etting their own system or possibly go in ~;aith surrounding
incorporated areas on getting their own system.. A lengthy discussion
wa.s had on this matter w _:i_ch was sum~:ed up with motion by Clark that

Thereupon Young: :roved that B 11 Dio. 138 ,eing a bill
providing for the appropriation of money out of the f;eneral fund of
the City of Riverside, Niiasouri, for the payment of certain indebtedness

Bzze to two vacancies on the Zoning Board, N:a;ror Filger
appointed Tfr, Bickameyer fora period of five years and h'_r. Tom Sawyer
for a period of six months.

P~nus moved that M.r. Kerns request for Carnival on his
pTvemises be mranted; that said Carnival be for one week, beginning
Fray 17 and extending through I~fa.y 23, 1954; that the cast for license
of said carnival be X140.00 for aforesaid seven days; ( this lic ease
fee to be mid in adva.nce); end that said c~?rnival to be closed
every night at 12:00 p.m., second by Beach, roll was called and
