AUGUST 21, 1953
A special meeting of the Boated of Aldermen of the City
of Riverside, Missouri, was held at the City Hall on August 21, 1953,
7:30 p.m. Upon Mayor Filger being absent, Acting Mayor Young called
meeting to order. Upon a roll call, all of the Board of Aldermen
were present.
Clark moved Young to be president of the council, Scrivner
seconded and rrlotion passed with following votes: Klamn-yes;
Beach-yes; Clark-yes; Panus-yes; Scrivner-yes; azd Young-yes.
Thereupon Bill No.119 being a b-ill requiring a particular type
of construct~.on for animal hospitals, animal hostelries, or kennels to
be erected and requiring expanded or remodeled existing animal
hospitals, animal hostelries or kennels to be enclosed, soundproofed
and embody adequate forced air circulation, motion was placed
upon its first reading by Pan us and seconded by Klamn, Said
m_oti.on carried with following votes: Beach-yes; Clark-yes;
Panus-yes; Scrivner-yes; Klamn-yes; and Young-yes.
- Thereupon Panus moved that rules 'ue suspended and that
Bill No. 119 be placed upon its second reading; seconded by
Klamn, motion carried with votes as follows: Beach-yes; Clark-yes;
Pan us-yes; Klarnn-yes; Scrivner-yes; and Young-yes.
Thereupon Panus moved that rules 'oe suspended an d that
Bill No. 119 be placed upon its third reading and that upon
passage of same, become Ordinance No. 119; seconded by Clark,
said bill carried with following votes; Beach-yes; Clark-yes;
Klamn-yes; Panus-yes; Scrivner-yes, Young-yes, and became
ordinance No. 119.
Pan us moved that meeting be adjourned, seconded by Klamn,
all voted in favor and meeting adjourned.
