THE Board of Aldermen of
The City of Riverside, Missouri
September 1, 1953
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of
Riverside, Missouri, was held at the City Hall on Septe~be~ 1,
1953, at 7:30 p.m.; upon a call of the roll, all of the Board
of Aldermen and the rlayor were present, the NTayor presiding at
such meeting.
Upon motion by Young and seconded by Panus it w~a unanimously
voted by the Board of Aldermen that all Kennels and Animal 13ospitals
in the City of Riverside be mailed a copy of Ordinance No. 119.
Upon motion by Panus and seconded by Clark, it was unanimously
voted by the Board of Aldermen that a pedestal fan be purchased
for the City T3a11 of the City of Riverside, Missouri.
Thereupon Pa~aus requested to be excused from remainder of rneeting.
Upon rrotion by Beach and seconded by Scrivner, all.. voted in favor'

Young requested that it go on record that all of the requirements,
pointed out by Panusasnot being on said a,~plication, have been
complied with in his opinion.
Upon motion by Klamn atul seconded by ~,e~~~I~~n~l~f~zoted.. in favor

and ~~proved.
Upon motion by Klamn and seconded by Beach, all votedin favor„
xxxxx that building permit be issued to Mrs. Nan cy E. Willingham .
Upon motion by Klamn that Midwest Precote Companyts application
for business license be approved subject td the prevailing
license fee a.t the time of the starting of business, seconded
by Scrivner, :all. voted iu favor. ',
Upon motion by Young and seconded by Beach that T•ir. Pay tom s
application for business license for the sale of Mobile Homes
* be approved subject to the receipt of check for same, passed

Upon motion by Scrivner, seconded by Beach that Mr. Chris t^7est
be appointed as police officer on a month to month basis, 60 hours
per month with the al lowance of ~p120.00 per month for expenses as
of the date the insurance policy ~is approved by the conneil~ all
voted in favor. for his car
Upon motion b;,~ Klamn, seconded by Beach, that the City pay the
difference in insurance precni~uns on a pro-rata basis from that
required by the state and that r eq:zired by the City of Riverside
for Mr. West car, all voted iri f_aq'or. ,
Upom motion by Klamn, seconded by Clark, that meeting adjourn.
