MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of
Riverside, Missouri, was held at the City Hall on October ~ 1953•
Upon a roll call, Aldermen, Beach, Clark, Panus 6crivner and Young
were present. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Filger.
Mayor Filger called upon each visitor to give their opinion
of the matter of the unincorporation of the City of Riverside and
most everyone seemed to be against unincorporation.
Thereupon Panus moved that Pyramid Petroleum Company's
application for building .permit of service station at Woodland Road
and Highway 71 be approved and passed upon, second by Scrivner, all
voted in favor.
Thereupon a fifteen minute recess was declared. Meeting
reconvened and upon a roll call, Aldermen Beach, Clark, Panus Scr~ver
and Young were present also Mayor Filger.
Panes moved that P. 0. Herman's application for building
permit be approved and passed upon, second by Beach, all voted

Beach Moved that Jack Hedrick's application for building per-
mit be approved and passed upon, second by Scrivner, all voted in
favor.
Beach moved that Abner's application for building permit
be approved and passed upon, second by Scrivner, all voted in favor.
Scrivner moved that Mr. Battliner's application for special
police officer of the City of Riverside, Missouri, be approved and
that he be hired on a month to month basis with amount of salary being
$1.00 per month, starting as of this date, second by z all voted

Upon motion by Beach, second by Scrivner, meeting adjourned.
