Guests: ST.aartz, Dr. and Mrs. Jones, Nlyers, Scott, Swetnam, Mr. and i4r~. Guse~aelle, N9r. Irl^rin and Mr. Cra~~rford. Minutes were read and approved. Dr. Jones made a talk on the County Health Department and its ~~rork. Mayor r'ilger is to c:~ntaet Mr. Stagner about traffic sign which is obstructing the view for Mr. Cra~~rford when he is going onto the high~rray from his drive. Panus made a motion to accept Myers and Scott Building permit for a car lot. All aldermen voted yes. Motion carried. Mayor Filger is to ask the Marshall to resign. Panus made a ~aotion that if the mar shall does not resign tivithin 4~8 hours, notice of a hearing on his impeachment should be Fiven to him. 'Phis hearing should be at 7:30 P.M., Nlay 28, 1953 before the board of aldermen. Alderman Yom; made a motion that letters be~vritten to ~~Ir. Dismond and to Dr. Jones. Seconded by Alderman Clark. All voted yes. Motion carried. Mayor Filger appointed Beach to check on a No Dumping si~~n for Riverside. Klamrn was appointed. by the Mayor to anstwer the letter about speed signs at State Pen. Alderman YoLmg moved th~~,t Bill No. 1 2, prohibiting the discharge of firearms within the city limits of Hiversi.de, be placed on its first reading. Seconded by Alderman Clark. The roll was called and the vote :vas as follo-vs: Alderman Panus - yes, Al Berman Beach - yes, Alderman Young yes, Alderman Clark -yes, Alderman Klamrn - yes and A1;'.erman Scrivner -yes, and Bill Ido. 102 was accordingly read. Alderman Young moved that rules be suspended and tkiat Bi7.1 No. 102. be placed on its second reading. Seconded by Alderman Beach. Panus made a motion that no parking limns be placed on either side of wJood7_and -goad extending X50' e<..st from Highway 71. Seconded by Alderman Clark. Panuc, Beach, Klamm, Clark znd Scrivner voted yes. Young - no. Carried. Alderman Young moved to grant a building permit to John Scott, and refund his '10 since this house is being rebuilt because of flood darnaoe. Seconded by ilderman Beach. Aldermen Panus, Beach, Clark, Klamm and Young voted yes. Scrivner voted no. plotion carried. Alderman PCnus moved that we reruest a branch office of the post office out of Kansas City, Missouri, with route delivery at least comp arable to present conditions and that the address of ~iiverside, plo. be designated for the area served by such post office branch and th~:~.t the proper authorities be notified oft.~is action of the Board of Aldermen in the City of Riverside, Missouri.
