A1-lermen presnet: Beach Brenner, Clark, Benner, Scrivner and `toun~;. Visitors: I~`~rs. Lucile Brophy, N:rs. Louise Davis, I~'r. and i~~rs. V~inston Klemm, T~~rs. Swartz. j+:inutas were read and approved. Collector's and Treasurer's reports were read and discussed. ?~ ~~r zus Iri~ss Building; permits wer© issued to Dave Soddars fora Aiotel, r^erd 1"'il~?er for a car sales lot, anc3 Ferd 1''ilger, Jr. for a fillin? station. The City Clerk advised the council that the varon~ applications had been signed by the Aldermen concern- ing the buildin? permits .for Ferd Pilger and Ferd ra'il~;er, Jr. and that permits would not be legal until building; permit applications were properly signed. No new applications were signed by the aldermen. Alderman Young made a motion toaecept '+dinston Klamm's resig- nation from the zonin.~ commission. Seconded by t~ld~rman Renner. °+11 aldermen voted yes. i4~otion carried. Alderman Brenner made a motion to accept Br. '1'. b;. Eagle's resignations from the zoning commission ani other civic duties. Seconded by til:~erman Beach. All aldermen voted yes. lotion carried. No report was made by "lderman Beach on the sanitation problems in Northwood Acres. Since Judge Swetnam was not present, no report was made on the ~Crabtreo well. `Phe city clerk was instructed to send a blank building; permit to Joe Manning in Northwood Acres. The city clerk was asked to send a "~7et ~~+ell Card" to N!rs. Swetnam. Younr~ reported that a bonded surveyor should do the survey svork between Riverside and Parkvilla. After some discussion and reading ~~ard Dorsey's letter and statement of .fees, the council decided to pay X375.00 as part payment and the balance in the near future.
