Aldermen present: Clark, Young, Beach, Renner, (Brenner coming in late), Scrivner, absent. Minutes of January 20, 1953, read and eoproved. Old Business: Motion made by Young that Bill #ii2 for the City of Riverside to pay election judges for special election January 27, 1953, ($10)each). Sac. by Beach. Votes Beach-yea, Young-yes, Clark-yes, Renner-yea, Brenner and Scrivner absent. Motion carried. Motion by Clark that Bi11 y;'82 be placed on first reading. Sec. by Beach. Vote: Beach yea--Clark, yes--Young,yea--8enner,yea--Brenner and Scrivner absent. Motion carried. Motion by Beach that Bill #i2 be placed on second reading. Sec. by Renner. Votes Beach-yea, Renner--yea, Young--yes, Clark--yea, Brenner and Scrivner absent. Motion carried. Motion by Clark that rules be suspended and Bill ~i2 be placed on third reading and become Ord. #~2. Sec. by Young. Vote: Beach--yea, Glark--yea, Young--yes, Renner--yea, Brenner and Scrivner absent. Motion carried. Motion by Young that Bill ~i3, an ordinance providing for the filing of the plat of the City of Riverside, Missouri, as it now exists with the recorder of deeds of Platte County, Missouri and further providing for the filing of the legal descriptions of the boundriea of the City of Riverside, Missouri with the county court of Platte County, Missouri. Sec. by Clark. Yote:Young--yes, Beach--yea, Renner--yea, Clark--yea, Brenner--yea, Scrivner-absent. Motion carried. Motion by Young that Bill #23 be placed on first reading. Sec. by Clark. Votes Young--yes, Beach--yea, Renner--yes, Clark--yes, Brenner--yes, Scrivner-absent. Motion carried. Motion by Beach that Bill ;~a3 be placed on second reading. Sec. by Brenner. Vote: Young--yes, Beach--yes, Renner--yes, Clark--yes, Brenner--yes, Scrivner-absent. Motion by Clerk that rules be suspended and Bill #23 be placed on third reading and become ord. ~23. Motion by Brenner that all instructions to Ward Dorsey should be in writing (Three copies to be msde, one each for Dorsey, City file, and to aldermsn making request) and that all answers from Dorsey should be in writing. Sec. by Renner. Vote: Young--yes, Beach--yea, Renner--yea, Clark--yea, Brenner--yes, Scrivner-absent. Motion carried Motion by Beach for Bill ~i4, regulating the keeping of pig pens and stables within the City limits of the City of Riverside. Sec. by Renner. Votes Young--yes, Beach--yes, Renner--yes, Clark--yea, Brenner--yes, Scrivner-absent. Motion carried. Motion by Beach that Bill ~ii4 be placed on first reading. Sec. by Renner. Votes Young--yea, Beach--yes, Renner--yes, Clark--yea, Brenner--yes, Scrivner-absent. Motion serried. ' Motion by Brenner that Bill X24 be placed on second reading. Sec. by Beach.
