Now Business: R. i~. Kern states to the council detailed explanation of new and used car lot. alderman Scrivner moved th*at application submitted by KArns for new and used car lot be approved, license subject to new occupation fee. Seconded by ;>lderman Clark. Rtotion carried. Alderman YounS moved that application be submitted by Kern for a buildin~ permit be approved. Seconded by Alderman Renner. -otion carried. Alderman Scrivner moved that application for buildinS permit submitted by T~i.tchell Burch be arproved. Seconded by Alderman Clark. I~iotion csrried. Alderman Brunner moved that application submitted bit Lester Swetnam for building; permit be approved sub,iect to fee o^ '10.00. Seconded by Alderman Scrivner. Lotion carried. Alderman Young; moved that the msrshall list all si^n boards in the city, turn in report to the cit council. Seconded by ~~lderman Clark. r~':otion carried. (~he collector will be instructed to bill the advertising company for period ending; Aumust 31, 1952 and also f. or period ending; lug-ust 31, 19x3.) As in accordance with Ordinance 2vo. b9, amendinr*, Ord. No. 9 "reS;ulating the erec- tion of si^nboards". Alderman Young moved that ordinance be prepared affixing a X5.00 fee for permit on all outbuildin~*. Seconded by Alderman dlark. idiotion carried. (conform with zoning; law) Ordinances: Alderman YounS moved that bill No. 6q be pla.eed upon the first reading. Seconded by 1lderman Beach. The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Alderman Beach - ,yes, Alderman Brenner- yes, Alderman Clark - yes, Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - ,yes Alderman Young; - yes and bill No. 69 was accord- inSly read. The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Alderman Beach - yes, Alderman Brenner - yes, Alderman Clark - yes, Alderman Renner - ,yes, Alderman Scrivner - ,yes, Hlderman Youn~* - yes and bill No. 69 eras accordingly read a third time, declared passed and was approved by i~iayor N'il~*er.
