Minutes of meeting iGarch 5, read and approved. New Business: Alderman Eagle moved that bir. Panus's letter of ~'=arch 12, 1952 be acknowledged as received, and please .furnish invoice, cover- ing item "~10.~1; also state that the council wishes to know lust when Mr. Panus can meet with the council. Seconded by Young. The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Alderman Yount; - yes, Alderman eagle - yes, Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes. Approved by mayor Filger. Alderman Renner moved that the zoning commission be nranted the privelege of using services of Mr. Ellerbrook, at the rate of X5.00 per hour, with limit to five hours. Seconded by Scrivner. The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Alderman Young; - yes, Alderman Eagle - yes, ~Slderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes. Approved by P,°,ayor Filger. Alderman ~a~le moved that bill No. ?_3 be placed for first reading. Seconded by Alderman Scrivner. 1'heroll was called and the vote was as follows: Alderman Young - yes, Alderman Ea ale - yes, Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes and bill No. 23 was accordingly read. "Bill authorizing pay- ment to L. R. Renner for personalized check X2.85, Issue cheek to ~*. 11=. Peters Ins. Agency, covering bond on Lowell Brenner, X2.38; Issue check to G. Ti!. Peters, covering bond on L. R.Renner, :2.38, and check to Platte County Gazette - financial statement published in paper, "3.60." Alderman Nagle moved that rules be suspended and that bill No. 23 be placed upon its second reading. Seconded by Alderman Renner. The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Alderman Young - yes, Alderman Eagle - ,yes, Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes and bill Tdo. 23 was accordingly read a second time. Alderman Ea[*,le moved that rules be suspended and that bill No. 23 be placed on its third reading and be passed and become known as Ordinance PIo. 23. Seconded by Alderman Scrivner. The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Alderman Young - ,yes, .Alderman Eagle - yes, Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - ,yes and bill No. 23 was aceordin~;ly read a third time, declared passed and was approved by Isayor Filger. Alderman Eagle movod that rules be sz.zspended and that bill No. 21+ be placed upon its second read- in:^. Seconded by Alderman Renner. Alderman Eagle moved that rules be suspended and that bill P1o. 21} be placed on its third reading and be passed and become known as Ordinance P:o. 2~.. Seconded by Alderman Scrivner. The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Alderman Young; - yes, Alderman Eagle - yes, Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes and bill No. ?~ was accordingly read. "An Ordinance amending Ord. No. 7. by doleting therefrom the provisions for purchase of license covering a three year period; and amending rate for trucks up to 1/2. ton." Alderman Renner moved that rules be suspended and that bill No. 2~ be placed for second reading. Seconded by Alderman Young. Alderman Scrivner moved that rules be suspended and that bill No. 25 be placed on its third reading and be passed and become known as Ordinance P1o. 25. Seconded by Alderman Renner. The roll was calk d and the vote was as follows: Alderman Young - yes, Alderman Eagle - yes, Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes and bill Pao. 25 was accordingly read a third time, declared passed and was approved by N:ayor Pilger.
